This was our first time here and I doubt I would ever come back. First, the service was friendly and prompt. Second, the food was pricey for the quantity, and it lacked flavor. Third, a tip was automatically added and they were very generous to themselves with my money. Restaurant was clean but nothing fantastic. I'd recommend looking for a different restaurant.

This restaurant uses a model of "order and pay with tip before seating", which means waiting in line and ordering from the counter. I know this system is in common practice today, I'm not a fan. Gratuity is based on service and food quality, neither of which you can know until you've already paid here. That being said, the staff were extremely friendly across the board and very attentive. We ordered several dishes -- spring rolls, egg rolls, edamame, pho with sliced beef and two vegetarian dishes. The vegetarians were satisfied. The wait time was reasonable, the first dish came out really fast actually. The problem is the first dish was an entree not the appetizers. Strangely all three entrees came flying out and the appetizers came several minutes afterwards. The food quality was ok, but it was very simple. The dishes we received looked visually like any traditional Vietnamese food, but the taste was extremely just ok. The spring rolls used iceberg lettuce and no traditional aromatics. The vegetarian noodle soup used lettuces as one of the vegetables, which I suppose is technically true. The beef slices for the pho were quite small and rectangular. The traditional aromatics served with pho were there like basil and jalapeño slices. I think it's worth mentioning that the small sized pho is pretty small. In comparison to the other Vietnamese restaurants we've eaten at for many years even in Memphis, the value wasn't present in what we ordered. It simply wasn't what we were expecting.I think this is a fine restaurant for those who are ok with the idea of Vietnamese food but may not have stringent standards about traditional versions of the dishes.

Ate dinner Monday at this fairly new pho place. I liked the streamlined decor. The kitchen is in the middle with tables on each side. The parking is kind of tight as they share a lot with other businesses. We ordered a variety of appetizers to try. We had the fried appetizer plate with egg rolls, sweet potato fries, fish sticks, dumplings and sauce. It was delish. We also tried the lamb and steak kebabs that were a little spicy but great flavor. I also ordered the spring rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was so yummy and thick. My rice noodles with seafood was huge and had a lot of shrimp, mussels, clams, and squid. The dish came with bean sprouts, jalapeños, lime wedges and mint. It tasted good and the noodles were not overcooked. The broth was okay. Once you enter the establishment, you order at the register. The cashier takes your order and then the team will bring your food to you. The service was extremely fast. The servers did check on our table and asked if we enjoyed the food. The only strange thing is that we did not receive a receipt. I heard the soup broth was very tasty. May return to try other menu items.

Highly recommend! I had the Beef Pho and Veggie Pho as well as the strawberry tea. It was absolutely amazing! Portion sizes are great and service is fast. If you ever get the chance, you gotta try it.

We need to premise that they have only been open a week, and are still trying to figure things out. It was fairly evident, things are a bit clumsy, but I think the overall quality of food was nice.We had a beef pho and combination pot. The broth in the pho was rich and flavorful, the portion of beef very good. The combina to on clay pot really had a combo: mushroom, beef, chicken, shrimp, spam (really needs to be seared prior to serving imo), sprouts and tofu. There are four broths to choose from, the spicy one was delicious.Cons: 1. the service took a long time and it wasn't expected. Either they need to let folks know when ordering, or maybe offer a free drink when it takes 30 min+ for food.2. They don't quite know their own product just yet. The counter person needs to be able to help explain to customers what the menu is. I know Chinese clay pot and Vietnamese pho, but I watched a few customers stumble through it.3. When servers come by to check on customers, clear empty plates. Pros:1. Flavorful food! Try something you never thought you'd try Memphis!2. Clean, ample bathrooms.3. Friendly staff. We would be back if they start serving Banh Mi, which was on some of their menus, but they weren't sure if they'd make or not.

After several incarnations (BBQ and Shake place that I recall), this place seems to have found the right tenant. Went there last night after a show. We ordered takeout - Shrimp Pho and Seafood Pho, as well as an order of Egg Rolls (2). First impression was how big the 'small' Pho orders were. When we dipped into them, the broth was wonderful tasting. The ingredients were plentiful - separate containers for those and the broth so you can control the final product. Not a Pho expert, but this was pretty good. The staff were quite pleasing, service was fast and friendly. Ambiance is that of a diner (don't let that deter you).

First visit to this restaurant. Located in the old One and Only barbeque on Perkins, I Love Pho is a welcome addition to the area. Not being a huge pho fan, I had the house-made egg rolls as an appetizer and the pineapple fried rice with chicken for an entree. The egg rolls were a pleasant change from those pre-made, frozen ones that most Asian places serve. Service was friendly and quick. The egg rolls came out in about 10 minutes. My pineapple fried rice with chicken came out shortly after that. The rice was above average but not spectacular. The portion size was huge and I ended up taking over 1/2 of it to go. 3 days later I am still eating it! There was soft Asian music playing in the background that set a good mood. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. You order and pay at the counter. I recommend I Love Pho and will definitely go back,,,probably in a month or so when I finally finish the fried rice!

The boyfriend and I eat here AT LEAST once a week! So so so good. The atmosphere is great and the people are so friendly. We also tried the fresh juice and oh my gosh. This is definitely a place you have to go if you're a soup/noodles kinda person.
