Howard's Donuts

We happened upon this shop when the restaurant we chose for breakfast was closed. The donuts here are amazing! Lots of variety, good prices, and fresh donuts. We got a half dozen of different types of donuts and ate three right away. The Frosted Red Velvet had a crunch around the exterior from being fried. It had a wonderful mouth feel between the crunch, the soft interior and the sweet icing. The Pink Sprinkle was fresh but no different than most other donut shops. The Chocolate Dipped Sourdough was exactly like the glazed one you typically see but with a nice chocolatey taste - not too sweet either. We are saving the rest for later. The owners welcome you with a smile - great way to start your day. I highly recommend!

Yesterday, I visited Howard's Donuts on Summer and witnessed an employee making a racial comment about a young black male. The worker grew frustrated as the customer wanted to use his debit card, which requires a minimum purchase of $4 or $5. After pondering, he made his choice. When it was my turn, I said, 'It wasn't nice to make that comment!' Others behind me in line replied, 'YEAH!' She then responded, 'If you don't like it, don't shop here!' Howard's DonutsI walked out and will never purchase here again!

Howard's seems to have the sweetness dialed in to the perfect level. Their donuts aren't overbearingly sweet, and are quite tasty. Can't go wrong with a dozen and some delicious old fashioned donuts. Nice folks too! Worth a visit.

Fresh donuts, large variety, clean establishment and nice atmosphere home made flavors

On any given morning Driving to Howard's as dawn approaches & the morning commute of regulars stop in before work. Customers gather at the counter eager for a quick & convenient bite. Other regulars prefer taking the day slow & grab a seat quick as dining room space has limited seating & they are wanting to enjoy a slower pace savouring their tasty pastry sandwich Kolache or donut with coffee or morning beverage of choice offered. From the moment display cases are stocked coffees brewed & orders taken the morning rush begins.   I use to pass Howard's giving it no thought until stopping in with my ex gf on her way to work making me a new regular here as I frequented here while she ordered her dozen glazed & I would order my usual of a ham egg and cheese croissant a kolache & french curler with milk.  When I arrived the first thing I took notice of was the display case showcasing a small variety of pastries and donuts which all looked delicious so I ordered a dozen for me & my ex gf to share later that day. There's a warmer counter containing my 3 favorites of Kolaches croissant-wiches & breakfast biscuit varieties filled with delicious breakfast meats. There's not more I can ask for, variety it's perfect.  When I would receive my hot sandwich or kolache my orders would differ in consistency. There's times I'd come in early yet the sandwiches or kolaches would be lukewarm & what would remain unchanged is the underwhelming seasoning of my breakfast sandwiches. Cashiers here are hospitable & helpful with my orders. If it wasn't for the lack of time & limited seating. What I would do is take time watching traffic pass by while I enjoy my meal. Why not? They keep the dining room clean. It's peaceful enough to read the paper or a book. Service was polite. Donuts were not very good. The peanut butter frosted was the bright spot. The glazed yeast was not good and strawberry cake was not edible. Disappointing

Super cheap & super good donuts. We got the blueberry cake and chocolate glazed and they were great. We love Gibsons and were told to check out this place also, very glad we did!

Kolaches, cake donuts, fritters and every other shape/flavor ou; what's not to love? The faces always have smiles, coffee is always hot, and the warmth in the air speaks for itself.Always my go to for anything breakfast pastry related.

Love how my day starts with the fresh donuts. especially their glazed and chocolate glazed donuts taste so good so yum. The breakfast sandwich and Kolache are great as well, fresh and tasty. clean environment and very friendly staffs with fast serviced.You should try their iced-thai tea and iced-green tea too, it's just more than I can describe. it's super good. I'm glade I have found this shop.

Pleased with the fast service and friendly staff! Happy customer service price for the donuts is good! Cleanliness and organized sitting area! Menu is easy to read.
