King Room
Room is cute, but that's about it.
I stuck a coffee straw inside and confirm that it was a thick coating of dust
Hallway ceilings
Room
Hotel front desk
Chipped and rusted furniture.
Love all the music frames

I'm going to keep this short and sweet: It's not worth the money. I did a staycation and checked out the very next day. As I was checking out, I heard one staff member tell another that I was the second early departure of the day (it wasn't even 10 o'clock yet). Aside from the room not being clean (that's dust in those lamps and I don't know what on the floor), it had a slight smell of mildew that got worse as it rained. It's pet-friendly, but the only nearby spot to walk your pet is in the park a block away; which is not ideal after dark. Worth noting, their social media pictures (kudos on the diversity though) show people with drinks -- there is not a bar in this hotel. Only a diner that is not affiliated with the hotel, and wasn't open for dinner the evening of my stay. The staff was very nice and the complimentary hot breakfast was appreciated. But this isn't a hotel I'd recommend to anyone.

I recently stayed here for 3 nights. I booked through Expedia and got a solid rate, close to $190/night for 2 queen beds. I was able to get checked in 4 hour early for $25 which was helpful after a red eye flight.Close proximity to Beale street. There is a breakfast spot right next door which was solid.Close Uber to the National Civil Rights Museum. Graceland was just 10-12 mins away by Uber.A gentleman named Rafael at the front desk was helpful throughout our stay. Would recommend to anyone staying in downtown Memphis.

TL;DR. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms aren't very clean though. Floors and bathroom are dirty. The beds were clean at least, or that's what we are telling ourselves. When staying here it was post COVID and it did seem the hotel was short staffed. We arrived around 4:30 and our room wasn't ready. We waited at least 30 minutes downstairs enjoying a couple of beers in their lobby. After an 8 hour drive, this wasn't a big deal, as we were happy to be out of the car. When we requested a third set of towels, they were enthusiastically delivered within 2 minutes. No one makes your bed, gives you fresh towels or empties your trash between days. Not a huge deal for us. They have Aveda shampoo, conditioner and bar soap. When the room was ready, it wasn't very clean. The floors especially seemed unattended to. The beds were made but the sheets didn't smell of bleach which I have grown to expect. The toilet was clean. The shower could have been cleaner by other hotel standards. Where the room fell really short was with the floors. A toe nail in the corner. Dried something on the floor and generally appeared to have been swept, vacuumed or mopped. We never go barefoot (or in socks) in a hotel so we lived with it for our short stay. Because of COVID, I am leaving 3 stars, otherwise it would be 2.

**THEY DO NOT PROPERLY CLEAN THE SHOWER DRAINS SO YOU STAND IN STAGNANT WATER WITH HAIR, SOAP SCUM AND MILDEW.**The pictures of the hotel had us really excited for our late night stop in Memphis. We entered town late and were happy to feel safe in a secured parking garage with keycard entry necessary to enter into the hotel. Once we had checked in to our room, we noticed our toilet would not flush. As it was nearing 3:00AM and we had been on the road for 16 hours, we decided to address it in the morning before checkout. Once in the shower, I noticed the water was not draining. It had a cover that I easily pulled up to reveal globs of hair in a white jelly-like substance and yellowish-orange biofilm buildup. Once again deciding to address it in the morning, we went to bed. The AC refused to set to anything below 75 degrees yet when we woke up, or room was 59 degrees. Upon checkout, we informed the front desk attendant of all of the above. She simply said, "Okay," and sent us on our way. Biggest pro? Security and location.Cons? Literally everything else.

Thank you Mariah Madison for excellent service upon check in with great personality and speed. Also thank you Derrick Flemming for wonderful customer service for bringing us extra supplies and providing suggestions for places to see and go in the area. He was very professional!! I will most definitely recommend this hotel for its clean environment and friendly service. And I will stay there again on my next trip to Memphis. There were 6 of us traveling together 1/7/25-1/12/25

I loved the vibe of this hotel! Great location and it was decorated so cool. I really enjoyed the shower as well! The only thing I thought was weird was they only gave me one free breakfast to the breakfast restaurant downstairs even though I booked it for three people.

No food options provided by this restaurant. Poor or no maintenance! Room was not clean. Staff at the front desk uncaring and or no professional management skills. Do not recommend this facility at all!

Great location and a real funky vibe to the place. The front desk manager was amazing - Mariah has the patience of a saint and operations manager Lezara could not have been sweeter and more helpful. Thank you for a great stay!

The hotel charges extra fees every night you stay. I have 400 + charges and front desk help Carla is very condescending and rude when addressing customer concerns. Why would anybody stay here?

Absolutely Horrible. I spent three nights here for a BBQ festival that I was competing in this May. I checked in on Thursday afternoon, and the hotel appeared a bit run down. I left to help the team set up on the river to cook on Friday. When I returned to the room, I went straight to bed and had to leave very early Friday morning for the river. When I returned late Friday night, there was no hot water, so I took a cold shower. I was nasty from smoking BBQ. I called down after my shower, and a maintenance guy came and looked at it. He left and came back to tell me he wanted to move us. I was already in bed and told him that I would move in the morning. The next morning at 6 am, I went down to get a new room. When I returned to the room, my son had taken a hot shower, and I ran into a staff member who said they fixed it. I took the new keys down and stayed in the same room since the staff member told me it was fixed. After cooking and sweating from 7 am to 9 pm, I was looking forward to a hot shower. My son and I ordered a pizza, ate dinner, and I headed to the shower. COLD AGAIN. I called down and told them I wanted to speak to the manager in the morning and that this was asinine. At 10:30, a guy came to the door and offered to move us, but I was already in bed, and our stuff was not packed. I WAS TIRED AND DIRTY.This morning, when I went to the front desk and asked for a manager, the girl said she was the manager. I explained my stay and wanted to know what the hotel was going to do about my miserable experience. She walked away, and when she returned, she offered me points. I told her that points wouldn't be acceptable. She asked what I wanted, and I reasonably asked for a comped evening of the three. She walked away again and returned to offer me a free evening. While adjusting that, she also stated she would take care of the $66 for parking. I replied with a big thank you. When she handed me the receipt, the parking was comped, and she had taken $50 off one night. When I asked where the free night was, she said that the $66 and the $50 equaled one night. The first night was $116.85, and the next two nights were $156.75 each. She chose the cheapest night and didn't follow through on her commitment. She tried to contact maintenance and have them check the room, but after waiting for a considerable amount of time, she gave me the General Manager's name and said I would have to deal with him. This is the worst experience I have ever had at an IHG-affiliated hotel. I hope the GM steps up and does what's right.
