Hot Tamale Heaven And Grill

If you're looking for great quality tamales in the Delta, this is your place. It's not fancy and they don't have a big variety but what they do, they do well. We got a dozen tamales. They were fresh and well made. Their wings come in full wings so you get the drum, flat and stick piece all attached which equals one wing. So the value for the price is very good. We got 10 hot wings and 10 BBQ wings. Both wings were well seasoned. The hot wings weren't very saucy but they were excellent as is! The BBQ chicken wings were saucy and delicious. If I had to guess the ranch for the hot wings was homemade. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was dated and the bathrooms are old. My husband always makes it a point to go for tamales whenever he's in town. This is his place to stop. Highly recommend.

Delicious made fresh to order food! I had buffalo whole wings so crispy and delicious. Pan fried trout was cooked to perfection. The half smoked chicken made my eyes water it was so smoky, tender and fall off the bone good. The sides are balanced and flavorful. Come on now, the sandwiches!!! Where has this place been all my days? We travel from Yazoo to eat here. The tamales are very very good. I usually don't like tamales but these are good! The fresh squeezed lemonade is delicious and balanced. It's worth buy another cup since it's no refills but that's okay! Awesome service from friendly staff.

Only ate the tamales. And they were amazing. Best delta tamales we had on our trip. Closed on Sundays.

Fast service! fresh food! can't ask for anything more. Plus They make the tamales in house. The chicken wings a little dry, but the sauce on them is fruity and light. My chicken quesadilla tasted flavorful & piping hot

Just delicious there's lots of hot tamale places but this one is the best of 2nd place!!

Food is okay. Haven't been in a while but Love the Tamales. I get the chicken quesadilla often.

I ordered the sampler. I suppose to have gotten three fried tamales, 3 regular tamales and 3 pieces of chicken.I received one fried tamale, 2 wings, and 3 regular tamales. Just sad. Please improve.

Hot Tamale Trail - Stop #7/12I came for the tamales - but they where closed today!Bright, clean outside. I would have liked to try the Red Rooster Philly Chicken.

AMAZING!!! Had the loaded tamale pie and tried the fried tamale SO SO GOOD!! Definitely a fan and will be returning!!

Tamales are great! I have tried the loaded tamale pie and bbq sandwich as well and were pleased with both.
