When you go to BBQ place your either gonna get good bbq and bad sides or bad bbq and good sides... well I hit the jackpot and found both at the same place! It's 10 miles from home but we'll worth the drive to Glen MS! Maybe even tonight!

BBQ restaurants are an under served population around Corinth and its suburbs and a new outpost I've overlooked is in nearby Glen. High on the Hog is open Wednesday - Saturday during mostly daylight hours. With a heavy emphasis on BBQ pork and ribs, our first experience was very good. Two types of slaw- red with a little spice and primary vinegar base and a sweet conventional cabbage. White beans or BBQ beans with good seasoning and some pork mixed in. The pork is mildly smoked with a good flavor and is offered pulled or chopped on request. The ribs are smokey and tender, very good. A variety of sauces, sweet and hot are available. An old tradition in this area, the family pack, offers everything to feed a family meal of barbeque sandwiches and fixings for takeout on a more modest budget.Clean and attractive surroundings to enjoy good food, great service, and convenient access along busy Hwy 72.

Stopped by this restaurant based on the initial review. The service was great and the location is very clean. Since the name implies pork, I had the rib plate with potato salad and baked beans. The plate comes with 4 ribs and they were delicious had lots of meat on them. The sides were fresh and the tea was good and sweet. Definitely give this place a try.

This is a great BBQ restaurant in northeast MS. The owner is a great guy and makes excellent BBQ. It is easy to swing in and get some BBQ for takeout. Go check this place out!

Glad we passed all the fast food places!!A great roadside stop with picnic tables outside and seating inside. FoodWe ordered a slaw dog and pulled pork bbq sandwiches. LOVE the pulled pork sandwiches (I prefer the mayo slaw, hubs liked the vinegar slaw and daughter opted for no slaw). Sides were fries and onion rings. Crinkle fries and onion rings from a bag but fried perfectly. ServiceA++ Sweet lady behind the counter brought our food to the table. Will definitely stop again!

Live in Pickwick and not to far away, stopped in for the first time and loved this bbq. Is a regular short trip for us now. Plenty of bbq places in pickwick but nothing like this . Worth the short drive. Thanks , keep up the great bbq.
