At a work conference in Nashville and didn't have time to get hot chicken before we left so of course had to try it at the airport.I have got RESPECT now for Nashville hot chicken. Yes I was a hater at first, saying I was Asian and do they even know what heat is and I wanted it as hot as possible as long as I could still taste it, so Hattie B's gave me "damn hot" and they were not playing To the employee who I sassed - you were right. It was hot. Alternated between 3 drinks and still burned my face off (and my friend who was sharing wtih me) but it was totally worth it. The mac and cheese was delicious too. Fast service, not a ton of seating (airport life), but altogether an enjoyable experience at Hattie B's. I'll be back.

Ok ok... this has got to be the best option I've had in an airport in awhile.. Thanks Nashville for having this! The wait was a bit lengthy as a mom with four kids was studying the menu for 5 mins or soNice options for spicy level, sauce.Pickup was straightforward as well!

Had a layover at the Nashville airport and NEEDED to eat here. I've had Hattie B's when I lived in Alabama but moved to California and haven't had it in a while. Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, and it was extremely busy. It was difficult to find seating. The service was incredible! Specifically, there was one worker who was extremely cheerful and would greet every customer. They would also sing along with the music playing in the restaurant and even made up lyrics associated with Hattie B's. It made me smile! I ordered 3 tenders (2 mild, 1 medium) with a side of fries with ranch dipping. I really like that they let you choose different heat levels for each of your tenders. Everything was hot off the fryer, and tasted delicious!! I was worried about the spice, but I wish I got all Medium. It tasted much better than Mild. The fries were nice and crispy. The ranch is always so good. I wish there were more pickles!! I would highly recommend a visit if you're ever in the Nashville airport or Nashville in general! I would definitely choose to eat here again.

Hattie Bs food never let me down. It is the most consistent hot chicken place in the airport. The food runners are the best and seem joyful to be at work. It's a sharp contrast to the cashiers. Never smiling. No thank yous. Not welcoming. Love that there are places to sit and a nice place to wait for to go orders.

The tables were all packed when we arrived on Thursday night at 8 PM looking for dinner while waiting for our flight to leave. We heard this is a famous hot Nashville chicken joint so we absolutely had to give it a try. Each wings order came with six flats and drums for $13. For our group of 3, we placed two orders of mild and medium wings along with an order of peach cobbler. It took 15 mins to receive our food. The wings were juicy, not over or undercooked. The mild was the perfect heat for us, the medium being too spicy. The fries were cooked well but the mac and cheese made with pimento cheese was a standout. Even the peach cobbler was really good for $4.50! There are a few seatings at the counter which resembles a diner. Expect to grab your food and go because there is limited seating available. This was a great stop for a good dinner, especially considering that it was at the airport!

Just like Tailgate Brewery, every turn we made we were at a Hattie B's when in TN.See all our other reviews.Quality/Quantity - 3 Tenders - My daughter said this was the best value and I would agree. But I am a bone-in guy and would prefer wings. :) But I will do what my daughter suggests as we/I have already eaten my quota of fried chicken on this trip, and probably for the rest of the year... Also got a Buddy Golden Ale; a perfect compliment to the tenders.Atmosphere - Small location. But just enough tables for their current business. Service - Good, both times we were here (at 11am and noon). There were no lines.Price - See picture of their menu. I'm so impressed that so many of the businesses we ate at are similar if not the same prices as if we ate in the city. It is not like this at most airports. I think our bill came out to $23 + tip? My wife paid.Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2012 with your 13 locations and growing.

They have a good operation over at the airport. The line was already snaked across the entire double wide storefront but I was able to get my food in about 20 minutesI ordered mild because I heard it can get pretty spicy. While the chicken was flavorful the mild seasoning basically has zero spiciness/heat to itI ordered at 10am before they started offering sides other than tater tots but honestly they paired well with the chicken sandwichI wish each order came with more coleslaw

The chicken is good but not as good as the regular locations. They don't use the powder spice for the heat, they use a liquid instead. The Mac and cheese had over cooked noodles. It's just ok for a quick grab and go.

My first Hattie B's experience, and my only wish is that I would have gotten 2 orders instead of 1! I got the grilled chicken with mild sauce, and it was excellent! Nice bit of heat, but it wasn't overbearing. Loved the crunch of the pickles. Coleslaw was a plentiful and tasty side. I was quite satisfied with this meal! If you're in a hurry, then just note the grilled chicken takes 20 minutes to cook. But it's worth the wait!
