Harveys - Tupelo

Bottom line: The food is good, the service and food handling process is awful. We have eaten at Harveys many times. The service inside is spotty but the pick up order process is terrible. We ordered 4 prime rib dinners online. The pick up line was out to the road when we arrived. My husband found a spot to double park & I went inside. I was directed to a small area beside the bar that had half a dozen delivery service drivers hanging out. Containers of food were spread all over the counter - not refrigerated, not kept in a warmer - and there was no sign of any employee. It was a dirty, messy environment & definitely not what restaurant management would want a customer to see. I went to the bar to ask for help & the bartender had no idea why the pick up area was unstaffed. Finally, an employee came in from outside. She was the only person handling pick up orders, including orders for Door Dash. My order was sitting on the counter & I would have bagged it myself & left except it was missing 2 salads. When the salads arrived she put all 4 orders in 1 paper bag, shoving the sides & salads on their side to fit in. I re-bagged it so that the sides wouldn't leak out. I'm appalled at how food was left out to spoil or be tampered with. I'm appalled management put one employee in the position of trying to serve an unreasonable number of customers. A manager should have been ensuring food was stored safely in a clean environment and he should have been helping her serve customers. The restaurant was not full - no wait line. The bar was almost empty. No excuse for the chaos.

We really enjoyed it. Very nice interior, reasonably priced good, if southern slow, service it the were also packed and it was not hard to see why. I had a great salad and their great creamy chicken noodle soup. My grandgirl had the salmon. As most know in food presentation is half the battle and you had her when the dish hit the table. Great stop. I doubt I will ever be in Tupelo again but if I am, I know where I am eating.

Had such a terrific meal at Harvey's when I was visiting for the weekend! The burrata was wonderful and I can't say enough good things about the delta chicken, I find their lemon pepper chicken great to!

Harvey's is one of my favorite restaurants in Norther Mississippi. I think I previously reviewed the location in Columbus which is very good but I think the Tupelo location may even be a little nicer. Food and service are excellent. Don't miss the broccoli bites. Soooo good.

Walked in and was seated immediately. No wait! 20 minutes later, several servers walked by, even the manager walked by, and never acknowledged we were there. Very disappointed! Love their broccoli bites but this is unacceptable. So we left! Never again!

Delicious hamburger plus fries , extra soup. Waiter was fabulous. Husband ate salmon with wild rice & asparagus. Great food.Ambient was great, it was packed. Definitely will go back. Just passing through.

This restaurant and the experience were amazing. We've been going to chain steakhouses lately but decided to try local. There was no comparison. From the hostess, to the waitress, to the food, to the wine selection, everything was amazing! And at the end, it really wasn't much more expensive than any chain. And did I mention the ambience? It was quiet with no harsh lighting and the clientele were a bit older and without out of control kids. I'm older so this is our new special place.

The food was so great!!! First time ever had bread pudding, and it was delicious. Very nice place clean and the waiter was fantastic.!!

My daughter and I ate at Harvey's and loved it. Most meals come with the choice of salad or creamy chicken noodle soup. PICK THE SOUP! Best soup I've ever had. I got the chicken tenders with baked potato. Very good. My daughter got the lemon pepper chicken with broccoli - she loved it. The cheese sticks with marinara was excellent. We also got the skillet cookie -very good but we were too full to really enjoy. Great restaurant! Food comes out very rapidly

Mika is the most AMAZING bar tender EVER!! Always above and beyond! And the chicken noodle soup is to die for!
