Hardins Country Store & Restaurant

Hardin's is a prime example of a family owned business putting out delicious eats. My parents have been going here for years and I occasionally join when I'm in from out of town. Triple A 5-Star service and food. Mr. Ben and his incredible crew know how to make down home good food. This morning I had a Bologna, Egg & Cheese biscuit and the Bologna was the thickest cut I've ever had and I was insanely delicious. On top of that I ordered a Country Ham, Egg & Cheese biscuit that was about as good as you can get (especially adding blackberry jam).This is the last true place to get a good homestyle breakfast since Shockley's closed. And Breakfast isn't where it stops! They have lunch and dinner too!

CLEAN, friendly staff, owner operated. Excellent food and prices. Preferably cash due to cost of running debit cards. My favorite local restaurant. And we live West of Tupelo airport. This is the closest restaurant to our residence, so it makes for an easy order to call in. I usually get their ribeye steak sandwich with spicy fries, and let me just tell you - it is a fabulous decision every time. My mom gets the hamburger steak with gravy and onions on top with side okra and mashed potatoes. It's usually good, but the okra tends to not be as fried as she requests; It's more so very mushy and oily. Aside from that, the food itself is good and homestyle. Definitely recommend to try at least. As far as the service from employees goes, it is usually very friendly and you can see the southern hospitality very clearly. Once, however, when we waited on our food to be done, we saw a girl behind the kitchen counter constantly texting on her phone with gloves on. It didn't give the most reassuring vibes when eating, but it was the first time we'd ever seen that and we didn't know if she even handled our food. Nonetheless, it is a store deeply rooted in old fashioned ways and just warms your heart to know exists.

The best hamburger steak I have ever had in my entire life- consistently for years! You can't beat hardins!

Haven't eaten there in quiet awhile because of proximity to it, but food was always good when we did.

Very good small country restaurant/gas station. I never go there to get gas. I mostly go for breakfast/dinner. Very good simple food

Gems like this are hard to come by!! The food was absolutely delicious and the owners were very welcoming!! I can't wait to go back!!
