Grecian Steak House

Knowing about other Grecian Steak Houses in Cape Girardeau and Sikeston, MO. I stopped at this location thinking I will get the same type and grade of food and service. Not really. Not even close at all. The place was quiet and maybe 3 tables total. Let's start with the coffee, it was watery, and when mentioned it to the waitress, her response was that we are the FIRST EVER to make a comment about the coffee. IT WAS WATERY AND NEEDED TO BE THICKER AND THAT IS IT. The salads were just normal but came in a squared bowl that a round plate, no problem. We ordered 2 Delmonico steaks. 1 medium well and one medium rear. The baked potatoes were lightly warm and the butter didn't even melt. No problem. But to not know one steak from the other is a problem that they had to take back to the kitchen to let them know. Now it is time for the $25.99 1 lb steaks. There was not a 1 lb Delmonico (Ribeye cut) steak that you would rate as a Delmonico with smooth mouth watering. I'll let the pictures show what I mean. Was not something I would have complained about, if I knew I would have took the pictures from the beginning not after taking a couple of bites.

Good prices. Convenient location. We walked to it from the Comfort Suites. No wait on a Thursday evening about 5:00. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. The steaks were cooked properly--we ordered them Medium, and were seasoned well. Baked potato and salad came with the dinner. Reasonably priced too!

Food was great service was the best and everything was fast and delicious I would recommend to anybody.

I came with a huge group from work for lunch and had the chicken teriyaki lunch special, it was excellent. Our waitress Haley did an admirable job accommodating everyone.

What a great place as a go-to or stop along the way. Easy and close interstate access. Very comfortable and good food - affordable, too!

NY strip was bland. The server was not available a lot. Had to ask another server to help us. Positive is the Ranch dressing was the bomb! The ambiance was ok. Some music was too "metal" for a dinner setting. But all the decor was inviting.

Passing thru and the wife and I did takeout at the Grecian Steakhouse. Both had sirloin, baked potato and salad and I must say, I'm a little surprised at the low ratings I'm seeing listed. All was good, the steaks especially so, and staff was friendly and efficient. We will return if in town again. Recommended.

We were very pleasantly surprised after reading reviews. There's not a lot of choices for dinner here. Our server was so nice and attentive to our needs..Atmosphere was family type, good steaks, cold beer and it's clean. If we are ever in the area again, we'd come back..

This place is terrible. Firstly the bathroom smells like the septic is backing up. The service is super slow and poorly trained. The manager included. The server was sweet, but food took forever. Then we didn't receive one side of fries. Our salad came after everything else and was dry no dressing, shrimp plate was actually popcorn shrimp. Manager refused to take the salad off, though she was surprised we didn't get dressing. It was $14 salad we were charged for and couldn't eat. Head manager wouldn't even come out. Never will come back!!! Hope the health inspector checks their sewage out. Gross.

I ordered the Tbone 1 lb steak medium rare to go. When we drove a block back to the hotel I learned the thin steak was well done. I have never had a steak that well done in my life. There was no 2 ways about it this steak should not have been given to a paying customer well done. The potato didn't taste fresh and the mushrooms we ordered tasted like they came from a can and warmed in the microwave. Even the Texas toast tasted bad.We didn't take it back because it seems this dirty town cannot do any better. This place has food violations check them out on yelp. We wasted our money in a low end establishment.
