We took a bit of a detour from the freeway to find this place for lunch. It was beautiful. So bright with a chic farm vibe. I had a Caesar salad. Ingredients were fresh. Croutons were homemade. Lots of tomatoes. Dressing was light and not overwhelming. It was a good sized portion as well. Menus are on the table. Decide what you want then walk up to the counter to order. Food is delivered to your table. Great experience!

I was on the hunt for a new lunch spot the other day, exploring options near our usual hangouts, and stumbled upon this charming gem. We loved the atmosphere & the food was so fresh, well made and plated. The food was hot & very filling. The service was slow & we sat for a bit but no worries especially when we are getting fresh made food with fresh ingredients. We can't wait to go back!!

I dropped in here for lunch, mainly because the Wilson Cafe no longer has lunch service during most of the workweek. It was as busy as I had even seen it here, and I waited in line behind about ten people to place my order. Fortunately, the relaxed atmosphere here lends itself to hanging out and using the free wi-fi.I was quite pleased that they still make cold brew coffee here, and I drank my fill of it. Their frequent customer loyalty program has been dropped, as "the person who set it up is no longer here."My lunch partially consisted of the daily lunch feature: crispy chicken cordon bleu. It was perfectly prepared and delicious. It was so generous of a serving, that I had to cut it into quarters. The side salad that I had was fresh and tasty. For dessert, I devoured a phenomenally well-balanced fruit tart. They've added some two person tables, which means not having to share the eight person tables with other parties. After taxes, but before tip, my lunch was $36.30. Pricey, but definitely delicious.

Buddhist monks have a philosophy about the proper consumption of food under strenuous guides which supposedly lead to enlightenment and eternal nirvana. it is said they must not only taste the food, not only just the bite, but every single solitary chew. every chew's flavor must be so integral to the meal's experience that one becomes lost in the process of eating. and there is great wisdom in this philosophy about slowing the mind and focusing but at the same time acknowledging the liminal state of being. it is my fervent belief that even the most hardened monk, so close to this state of magnificent entropy between alive and infinite bliss, would chew one bite of the grange's strawberry cake and immediately forsake his practice, going absolute sloppy feral hog fucking wild and in a flash consume the entire cake as fast as a gunshot in the dark. additionally, and without hesitation, i must give attention to the cheese cake. it gave credit to both of its namesakes. the patty melt would have been 18$ in nyc and not nearly as good. also, thank you Eevee for the great service.
