So worth the price to reexperience the legend of Elvis Presley. We walked from the Guesthouse hotel which is across the street. We started with the Graceland tour. A shuttle takes you to the front door of the mansion. It's been wonderfully preserved. It was fun to see how much technology has changed. The house is quite modest in today's terms. Next we headed through all the museums. My favorite by far was the room full of his jump suits. They were beautifully displayed. He was a trend setter in so many ways. I was about 12 when Elvis died so a bit young to experience his rise to fame. But hey, my name is Lisa Marie so his influence has been with me since I was born.

Grab a good pair of walking shoes and come with me to enjoy the experience of theeeeee K I N G!!!you will need a good pair of shoes because this tour is hours long...yes hours! I thought I would be teleported back to the 1950s and 1960s with dated furniture and ancient style, but I was actually suprised at what I did find....This tour is a must see and worth specifically traveling to Memphis for. Graceland has been well maintained and there is a lot to see (i.e. family history, the mansion, memorobilia, exhibits, and even more recent items). It is huge and what an experience! I purchased the ticket at my hotel and a shuttle from the hotel took me to graceland (where there is a shuttle to/from the mansion).I am not a superfan, but I learned so much on the tour. I was impressed with Elvis' dedication to family, military experience, charitable spirit, and although I wondered about his costume choices (there were a gazillion), I found them intriguing by the end (maybe just Elvis himself). Elvis accomplished a lot and planned for the future great (being the family is buried there together - even most recently Lisa Marie Presley).I also did not get the coveted picture in front of the mansion before leaving, but the staff happily put me on a shuttle back to the mansion to retrieve a picture (see the picture attached).NOTE: an audio tour is available (free to use ipad / headphones) but I found it distracting. I preferred looking and/or reading at my leisure.

The neighborhood around it is really the hood. The property is safe during the day but after the park closes at 6P don't trust anything. The hotel is safe but it was suggested not to walk around and there are shuttles constantly going from the museum area to the house to the hotel.Bring GOOD walking shoes! The floors are concrete and it almost seemed a harder concrete than typical so my feet were pretty sore by the end and the next day. The tour starts in the museum area with a short video and then you take a shuttle to the house. They give you a tablet and some headphones and I would definitely recommend to pick up a cheap pair of aux headphones (I struggled with balancing my tablet and keeping mine on my ears as I walked through the house). The audio tour is John Stamos and Lisa Marie's voices and a bit outdated but still cool to hear their perspective. I felt a bit rushed in the first part of the house by the staff but once I realized that I could take my time and go at the pace of the audio tour, I enjoyed it so much more. I knew that Elvis has had a large impact on the world but I had no idea how much! It really opened my eyes to be able to see this. I really enjoyed seeing his cars and movies and gold records. I ate at Vernon's Steakhouse. I felt the food was tasty but overpriced. I was not expecting how it ran through me for the rest of the day. I'm slightly surprised that it was the first time I went and I'm glad that I did. Highly recommend!!

Graceland. What more can I say?? I thought it would be a quick tour, but it was so much more. From the extremely eccentric and over the top decorations from back in the day, to the immense collection of cars, jumpsuits and records and awards- its a lot to take in. I would recommend going on a weekday and on a not so great weather day. Buy the photo! I'm so glad we went.

I remember listening to a Bruce Springsteen bootleg with him talking about his effort to try to visit Graceland. Bruce was denied, as Elvis was in Las Vegas or Lake Tahoe or somewhere, but he wasn't home and some of Elvis's staff came out and let let Bruce know.Did I enjoy my visit? Yes Elvis's place is an iconic spot in the history of rock 'n' roll and a fun spot to visit. The tour doesn't take you to all of the different rooms in his home, but it does give you a comprehensive overview of what was going on. We even got to tour Lisa Marie, his jet named after his daughter. Will you get a chance to buy some souvenirs? Yes, I have never ever in my life seen more memorabilia for sale than at Graceland. So, under the influence of being a Graceland, my wife and I pose for a picture of us and purchased that picture for $45.In terms of the monstrous houses that people can buy today, Elvis had a very humble abode, although very comfortable and creative for the era that he lived in.I have no need to return, but I did enjoy my visit.Do I need to go back? No.

Quality/Quantity - Wow, one of the highlights of our trip!! Well, we are lucky to have had a few. See my excessive pictures.Learned something new, when I upload too many pictures, Yelp crashes... It took approximately 24 hours for it to fix itself and then it lost some/many of my pictures...My daughter bought us the $82 tickets. See picture of the menu (if it got uploaded).Started off with a short 7 minute video. Then we were shuttled off to the house.Given an iPad with headphones to walk the property at your convenience. After we finished the house tour, we went back to the front of the house and had Brian, the "professional" photographer, take our pictures. We took so many pictures, we missed our shuttle... Had to take the 3rd shuttle back. Then we toured the airplanes. Then we hit all the Elvis museums, including Lisa Marias... So many and not enough time.Atmosphere - Huge location. 500 acres...Well the tour is only on a few acres, see picture of the maps (if it uploaded).Prior to getting here, there was major road construction so be safe. Service - Overall good.Price - $10 for parking; $82 per person for the tour we selected.Owner Comment - Thank you Elvis for welcoming us to your home. :)

I recently visited Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, for the first time to celebrate my sister's 61st birthday. We drove up from Louisiana, with me as the driver, and arrived at the Guest House across the street from Graceland on Friday evening. We had a tour planned for the following day.The tour was very nice, and most of it is self-guided. It starts out with a bit of information about the Mansion, and we chose the "Experience" tour. We got to see Elvis's jets, cars, costumes, and much more. There's quite a bit to see, and although they offer various packages, we were satisfied with what we saw and felt it was more than enough memorabilia for Elvis fans.I've never been an Elvis fan and probably wouldn't have visited Graceland if it weren't for my sister's birthday celebration. However, it was interesting to see his short life and music career showcased in one place. If you're an Elvis fan or enjoy music inspired by that genre, I'd recommend checking it out if you're ever in Memphis. They also offer free tours of the gravesites between 7:30 and 8:30 in the morning, so if you don't want to spend the money but would love to see the garden, this is a great opportunity.

The staff working here were so friendly.... Very accommodating..... the mansion is still as I remember.... Smaller rooms than I expected ... and not all of them are assessable to the public.....It's one tour not like Hearst Castle or something similar where they over different tours....But it's still worth with.... Across the street from the mansion is so different from the last time I was here.....they've expanded this area a lot....this is where Elvis cars & planes & personal items are located... They also have Restaurants & lots of souvenirs to choose from... My traveling buddies had never been here... & loved it me too! Memphis hospitality is wonderful....

Definitely worth seeing! Loved learning about all the history behind the furniture he chose for the house. I had no idea he had so many costumes and to see all of those within the tour was fantastic! I was 14 when he passed away and I remember seeing some of the ones he wore. Loved seeing the room with all of his award-winning records. Amazing!

Talk about a walkthrough autobiography. This is a whole day affair as we spent a good 7+ hours at the park and mansion. There is SOOO much information and depending on the ticket package, you can decide what you want to seeWe went with the package that included EVERYTHING (except VIP) which showcased his planes, cars, childhood and Elvis' music legacy as well as his military collection and earlier life as a father. The was mansion included in the tour and we viewed EVERYTHING about Elvis. Everything is restored or kept in pristine condition. Truly a memorable place for the King. We signed the wall outside of Elvis mansion and took lots of pictures. Paid my respects and soaked everything in. The mansion tour is a little rushed depending on where you are in the group or how many pictures you like to take
