Grace Chinese Restaurant

Let me start by saying that I probably have a refined palate. Having lived in a lot of different states/cities and living in NYC for over 20yrs having access to many different cuisines, I do know my Chinese food. Christmas Eve, 2024 a friend and I stopped here for take out. I ordered the General Tso's chicken, Cheese wontons with white rice and my friend got sweet n sour chicken. I was so excited as I had not had chinese food since moving her in June (unless I cooked it at home) I chose this spot b/c they seemed to be packed. We waited inside about an hour for our food, they were very busy. Inside is small but clean. Finally our food was done and we headed home, about a 4 min drive. Once home I dug in into my cheese wontons, they were good but I was disappointed I didn't get any sweet and sour dipping sauce (which is usually a staple for this) My friend shared some of his. I took my first bite of my General Tso and it was just bland. No spice at all, no taste at all. The rice had a weird smell/after taste to it that I could not pin point. The staff was very friendly, ordering was easy. But the food lacked flavor. Sadly I probably won't be back here. Sorry guys.

My husband and ordered for take out from here today. My husband has ordered their food to be delivered, through Doordash, to his work several times. He kept raving over it, so I told him I need to try it. We got their House Lo Mein, Happy Family and Hot & Sour soup. Delicious! Best we've ever had! Their pork eggrolls and crab Rangoon were also very good! We'll definitely be regulars!

Food and service is fantastic. I'm never disappointed with the food! The little guy at the front who takes orders is so polite and they are good about getting your food out quickly.

So, I'm only giving one dish 4 stars, because I've had a couple other things I didn't really care for. Lo mein is pretty mushy and Mongolian beef was ok with too much greasy sauce and such. BUT, if you don't like overly sauced dishes they have a solution. If you enjoy spicy noodles with a curry tinge the Singapore Chow Mei Fun is damn tasty. It's the only thing I get from here now and it's pretty fire. Hope you give it a try and enjoy it.

You'd think Columbia was large enough to have at least ONE decent Chinese Restaurant. Nope, not even close. Just tried to eat our Grace order.. Hard to tell if ingredients were spoiled, or just old. Spicy dishes were not spicy in the least. Noodles & wontons were old and overcooked as if they were out on a buffet line too long. Got the impression whoever was preparing dishes had never had the dish they were making.. so they didn't know how it was SUPPOSED to look/taste. Ended up just throwing the meal away. At least it wasn't too pricey. Still, throwing away a nearly $50 order is disappointing. Bottom line, if you've ever enjoyed good Chinese anywhere else in the country.. don't waste time/money ordering Chinese in Columbia. :-/

I went in person and Ordered Their teriyaki. Chicken was really water. The fried rice hand no seasoning and tasted plain. I will not be back was very disappinted

Ordered Togo. Their teriyaki. Chicken was like soup, had a red blood color in the said "soup". Grossed us out so we tried taking it back for a refund and was sent away because "there's nothing wrong with it". Cool then there should be nothing wrong with this 1 star and me felling everyone I know :) thanks for wasting my time and being fundamentally okay with keeping my money!

Food is wonderful, generous portions, best Chinese cuisine in town , loved the spicy beef dishes and the noodles are fantastic

Beware when ordering online. There was an extra charge once I arrived to pick up my order not to mention they had a question about my order and instead of calling and asking they waited until I arrived to pick it up the. Proceeded to prepare the dish they had a question about while the rest of my order sat there. So everything was cold except the one dish I had to wait on. They should correct their online system instead of charging the customer after their order is placed and paid for.

Ive been there a ton of times and I've never once been even close to disappointed. The portions are nice and the food is prepared well. Service is swift and my order is always correct.
