Germantown Village Wine and Liquor

Having just moved back to Germantown from Denver in May 2023, I have found the best local liquor store in the mid south. Germantown Village Wine and Liquor has a complete selection of top quality and mid-range items. I go in after work in the evening. Phillip is the MOD at night. Phillip and the staff at night are fantastically helpful. Phillip knows virtually all the product line. Helpful, courteous, friendly, efficient. Don't go anywhere else. Germantown has the right product, the right price, the right staff. Get there ASAP!

The staff here have always been extremely helpful, polite, and efficient. This store has a moderate selection of non-alcoholic beers, which works for me. Also, if you ask nicely, they'll even allow you to use their non-public restroom.

I shop at the TJ Maxx in this shopping area just about weekly. I decided to stop in this liquor store as I needed items for upcoming wine club. Staff greeted me at entry. About 2mins later, a worker approached to assist me. He was very helpful in helping me pick out several items that complimented the monthly theme. He even suggested additional items I could try later of those we to my likely. The store is very neat. The aisles are clearly labeled. Prices are very reasonable as well.

This is a very nice store in the middle of the city of Germantown. They have an excellent variety of wines and every kind of poplar liquor brand. We like to shop and support a local business so we stopped here to pick up some wine. They ave very reasonable prices on most selections.

Nice clean store. It's well organized. We went in searching for beer, because we couldn't remember if this state allowed beer in the liquor stores. Luckily, they do. We got a few six packs, and the guy at the register helped pack it up and offered to carry it for us, which I think is really generous. The store had quite a selection, way better than all the stores I've been to in Mississippi.

Good Collection of wines and liquor. Competitive pricing. Great Service. Prefer this place over other major liquor stores in the area.

I meet with a few friends once a month. We have whiskey and play cards. It was my turn to bring the bottle. I happen to know nothing about whiskey. If you like wine and want to be treated fairly, go to Corks! They have a great selection, and offer a better price on ever single bottle than Germantown Wine & Liquor. By driving an extra mile, I end up saving between $30 and $60 per week while buying the same things. I typically buy a case per week.You also need to pay attention. I was buying bottles of Groth Cabernet, thinking they were charging me the price at which it is tagged. Buyer beware, they were charging me more than the listed price. (They don't give you an itemized receipt for a reason).Do yourself a favor and shop with Corks! I promise you will save money and have a better experience.

Ask for Ken. Extremely knowledgeable about high-end whisky and bourbon (and likely other things, I've never asked). Has never steered me wrong. You may even get a sample if you ask.Update: Rest In Peace, Ken. I'm glad we crossed paths.
