Excellent alternative to the big box hardware stores that have seemed to taken over most of America's hardware scene. They have all the normal items you might need, ya know... flowers, soil, shovels, bolts, pipes, hand tools, power tools, strings, whips, chains, leather, ya know... hard wares...They also have some niche items for sale that satisfy me beyond what should be normal in a hardware store. Full lines of Lodge Cast Iron, Big Green Egg supplies that rival anyone around. As a matter of fact, their bbq area in general is really well stocked. Bunch of cool windmills, chimes, outdoor furniture, and even outdoor kitchen equipment. I can't say there are tons of deals just laying around, and you should practice caution and make sure you aren't getting totally taken on price here. One big difference that makes it worth the price is the level of help you can get here. Truly knowledgeable folks in each department make it a joy to shop here. Some things are just worth it. Some things aren't. Glad they are here, because they are. Just get your plumbing stuff elsewhere. '24 - 76/102

Always a friendly and helpful salesman! Respectful on phone inquires and well stocked on many items you would not expect at a local hardware store! Their product knowledge based is always astoundingly helpful to me a DIY-er who often knows how to finish my project!! Thank you for your patience and making each customer feel welcome just to look around!!

This is a handy place in which to get copies of keys made. They have a variety of key colors/styles to choose from for house locks and padlocks. I especially like that they open at 7:00 am most days.

This is the best store! They have an amazing assortment of items, things you didn't even know you need! Also, towards the front of the store some shelves of every kind of soft drink imaginable. Best of all, there are actually employees going around the store asking everyone if they need help. They are friendly and knowledgeable. How long has it been since you've encountered that sort of thing in this area? Thank you for being a wonderful store.

Just needed a car key copied for an old 1974 Ford. Blanks are hard to find so I brought mine. Happy to pay for the service. They won't copy keys on blanks they didn't provide? Why? They might mess them up?? They are blanks, you can't mess them up!! Silly policy with zero ability to deviate. There is no liability issue, no nothing just a big lack of effort? A-1 Key and Lock on Poplar made the keys in short order with no BS. Germantown Hardware might as well be just another big box store. Worthless.

Great hardware store! Lots of great brands and good prices People were very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.

Love this place! They always have gardening supplies in stock and I'd rather support a small business over Home Depot/Lowe's any day! The staff is always friendly and nice and we love grabbing a fun soda on the way to check out.

This is a new review since they have opened their expanded location. They took over the space that Memphis Pool and Germantown Car Wash were in. (Shame as I liked the car wash.)I went looking for three things.1. A very specific type of extension cord. I was actually not expecting to find what I wanted and I was going to make it. But, lo and behold, they had exactly the right type. 2. A quart of exterior white paint. Well I couldn't find it. Part of the problem was that they did not have the lighting working yet in that area. So I asked. The only stuff they had was $30+ for a quart. So that was a no thank you, going to Lowes. (Less than $20 there.)3. One inch chlorine tabs. That's a tough one these days, chlorine is in short supply. Anyway, they didn't. So, one out of three.

I called and asked if they had any sod available. I was told yes and drove 45 minutes to pick it up. I just arrived and was told by cashier they don't sell sod. He double checked with manager via radio and confirmed. Manager didn't come speak with me.

Actual people who actually try to help you. If they dont know they'll find someone who does.In the store that rhymes with Hos they run when they see the look in your eye like you need help. Just as well they didn't know anywayPrices are decent as well. Glad they expanded the store
