My first visit at GB with my aunt, although I've heard of this place! She visits often and recommended that we come here! No reservations needed...Upon entering we were greeted and walked to our table. For me this kind of sets the tone for the remainder of your experience at ANY ESTABLISHMENT! Our waitress was very attentive! Service was great. Fries had crunch to them even with the toppings. You get a healthy serving as wellI went light bc I had a healthy breakfast lol and we just needed an outing! This is in The Silo area! Very nice area! We rode the whole area to check out the scenery.

After taking family pictures they wanted to go here. We had a large group but they made the accommodations. I didn't like the fact that they sat us in a room but then separated us into 3 different tables. They may have did it for the servers but as a family we would've like to all dine together and that didn't happen. The appetizers were pretty good. I started off with the fried pickles with were okay. I prefer the pickle spears. You couldn't taste much of the pickles and they were pretty salty. The ranch was also really runny. The dynamite shrimp were great. We paired it with the ranch from the pickles and my son was able to eat it. It tamed down the kick for him. The GB smothered chicken I ended it sending it back. While it looked great it lack in flavor. The chicken tasted like nothing in addition to the gravy and queso poured over the top. I attempted to had salt n pepper but that didn't help. My sister had ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo which I didn't get a picture of but she stated the same thing that the dish lack in flavor. Even with the chicken being blacked it didn't look as such. One of the kids ordered the kids fingers which were just basic but the other had Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese looked extremely dry also lacked in flavor. The kids did not eat it. I will not be back here.

The food was on the bland side of seasoning. It tasted as if something was missing. However, it was decent. The service was good. The ambiance was loud and the area we were placed to sit was horrible. People standing over us as we ate to be seated. The table should not be placed in a high traffic area. The table was in front of the area that has the doors to maybe a private area for parties at times.

Let me tell y'all about this place. The fried collard green balls were absolutely amazing out of all the things I have tried at this restaurant those are a must have and will be my go to option every time I come. The smothered chicken was also a great choice and it was a very large portion. Pretty much everything we tried here was great. I would definitely come back again and get more of those collard greens.

So just finished up a sad performance at a baseball tournament and decided to pop across the street for lunch. We were seated quickly. No menus or silverware provided upon being seated. Waitress comes by and gets our drink order. Shocked we did not have menus. Brings drinks and menus to us. We order the dynamite shrimp appetizer the shrimp and chicken ziti w/ ceasar side salad, and a blue burger. Salad arrives and we are still without silverware. We ask a random waitress for some and she promptly brought us some. Food tasted good. Dynamite shrimp was large shrimp perfectly fried and good flavor. Ziti pasta was flavorful and large portion. Biggest issue was the sauce was real watery. Blue burger was a chunk of meat! Bun had a great flavor and softness to it. Biggest hit was the dang fries! They were a unique size and were so good! Biggest issues: 1. We were given glasses that were dirty. 2. Our waitress was very inattentive to certain things like silverware, dirty glasses. She spoke so softly it was hard to hear her. 3. Food arrived before appetizer did.

First time at Georgia Blue, met a friend for lunch, greeted with a smile upon entry and sat immediately. Our server Christa was the best, she gave menu recommendations and she was spot on and she made us feel at home, kept checking on us to make sure we were good. The turnip green bites for an appetizer and they were really good and the batter was seasoned, the sauce they serve them with is also sweet with a Cajun flair. I had the blue plate special with catfish, turnip greens, mashed sweet potatoes and hush puppies. The fish was awesome and hot and it was fried perfectly, hard, but tender inside and seasoned well! The mashed sweet potatoes were good, the greens were ok, tasted canned or frozen with onions, hush puppies were good, next time I would try something else for sides. My friend had the duck gumbo over rice not pictured, we both had the Hawaiian Kick cocktail, fruity, but didn't taste any vodka, the pecan cobbler was excellent, crusty and not too sweet and enough to share. For $13 the blue plate special is a great deal and you can add dessert for $2. The cocktail was $10 and needed more alcohol lol. The environment was casual and as time went on more people entered the dining room for lunch and the volume was louder. Overall, I enjoyed Georgia Blue and will definitely go back to try more of the menu! The manager walked by to ask about our food and experience which also gave a sweet touch. Try this place, good food and value for the money.

Enjoyed dinner here. The restaurant is nice and open. Staff was friendly. Even though the parking lot was full and there were groups waiting to be seated, our party of two was seated almost immediately. The strawberry lemon drop martinis and turnip green bites were awesome. The chicken alfredo was ok, but not very flavorful. The mixed berry cobbler was ok.Our server Lauren was very nice and attentive. Overall, a little pricey, but a nice place. I will definitely be back.

This was our first visit, and there is a strong possibility that we would go back again hoping for a better experience When we walked in, we were greeted and immediately sat in the room behind the bathrooms. Upon being sat in this room I did notice that there weren't as many people in this area so it was fine. Things began to take a turn after we sat for about 10 minutes without any service. Another party was sat right behind us and within a few minutes of being sat, the server walked right in to take their drink orders. We attempted to get the server's attention to let her know that we had been there first, but I assume she did not hear us, and she continued to walk off even after returning with their drinks from the bar, we were never acknowledged that we were just sitting there with menus and not even water.Another server walks in to drop off the food at the table across from us. I assume just a food runner, but there was still no acknowledgment. After the food was delivered another server walked in to check on the table and because at this time, we had been sitting there for 15 minutes we asked if he could get someone to take our orders. He apologized and said that he would get someone over to the table and walked off.Another 7 minutes go by and by this time we have been sitting at a table with just menus and crying for service for 20 minutes now. How ridiculous is this!!!!!!! At this point I am no longer interested in being at this restaurant, so we decided to abruptly leave. Upon grabbing our things, we were greeted by 2 servers who had just begun their shift. Zee the main server and she was also training with another server whose name I do not remember. However, she stated that she would take care of us. After sitting for so long we had time to pick our drinks, appetizers, and entrée so we placed an order for all of our food at once.Bar drinks-Georgia Peach-it was ok and the Strawberry Lemon Drop Martini-I drank it but had no desire to order another one.Appetizer-Turnip Green Bites-Ohhhhh now these were delicious!!!!! These are a must-try even if you are not a greens lover.Entrée-Hodge Podge PoBoy-I have had a better sandwich. If I had to rate this sandwich it would be a 4/10. You have more bread than anything and the shrimp is just sitting at the bottom. It was so much bread that I just opted to eat the shrimp out of it. The one with the shrimp and fish was the same. The first that was in the sandwich were very small strips. I have had better. The ambiance- was cool for an afternoon outing a little loud but family-oriented place.Price-$84 dollars for a casual afternoon lunch and a drink was not ideal, but it was it was.I am giving this a 3-star review because in the end it was better, but just know that it is never acceptable for me to beg anyone to take my money for food especially when there is an almost 30 wait that I was not notified I would have before being seated.Service-Zee and her trainee both were attentive, and they came back several times to ensure that we had everything that we needed. She recommended both food and drinks before ordering and made sure that what we were ordering was what we wanted. Even when the food was taking a little longer to come out of the kitchen, she notified us. Even after the long wait and deciding to stay and eat the service was the determining factor that we would return in the near future. If Zee is the model for how servers should interact with customers then I know my next experience should be much better than the first. Be sure to asl for her if you are visiting.

The food was really good. However, the service was really bad. We waited about a 20 minutes for the waiter to take our drink order and went ahead and ordered. We asked for lemons with our water and never got them. My husband ordered a salad and they brought mine and had to ask for his. Asked what dressings options and the waiter said we usually just have ranch. We never got water refills, waited for a while for our check and my husband had to go get someone to have the waiter bring the check.I gave the review a 3 because the food was great and would have given it a 5 if not for the poor service. After 4P there is an 18% gratuity regardless of your service.
