George's Restaurant

The burgers were pretty good and not your typical cookie cutter pre-made patty style. The fries are basic and nothing to brag about but $6.99 for more of a homemade burger, fries and a drink you really can't go wrong. The ladies taking orders and handling the food were nice and polite. The speed of service was pretty darn quick also. If I lived in the area I would definitely be a customer again.

Chicken was overcooked and dry but was still ok. Slaw and mashed potatoes was on point. Biscuit was 6/10. Prices have went up a good bit in the last year but everyone has so no big deal.

This is the quintessential Southern chicken shop in my mind. The staff is warm and hospitable, the chicken meals are large and piping hot, and all the locals are eating here. I've only ever come for chicken, but they do have some limited other options as well. Prices are very reasonable and you're sure to leave fatter and happier.

And a cheeseburger I said. She rolled her eyes and I could tell she got irritated. Shoved the food in my hands, closed the windows and turned her back to me before I could ask for ketchup. I sat there a minute and she walked off. Not a thank you, come again...nothing! If you don't like your job find one where you don't have to deal with people. I understand George's wanting to hire younger kids to I guess help give them money but this girl had 0 home training. No respect what so ever. Blond wearing a blue hoodie. Looked like she was twelve years old and act like it too. When my husband bit into the burger he said it taste like they poured a container of salt on it. Had to throw it away. I guess they were upset we ordered so late. So make the food inedible to get back at customers for ordering late. Simply tell the customer you are no longer serving for the night. Problem solved! George's will never get another dime of my money! Use to be the best restaurant in town but they let their childish employees ruin that title. Tampering with customers food is a new low.

I would give the food and efficiency of service a 5 star review but many of the servers themselves put a bad taste in my mouth. Multiple times in the drive thru, we have dealt with unkind, disrespectful, and rude servers. One young lady very noticeably rolled her eyes when asked to add a couple of biscuits to the order we had placed, when we had tried to add them at the speaker but with no response. She went on to be cold and silent when we apologized for obviously causing her frustration. This is not the first time something like this has happened. We get that you have bad days, but it is pretty common at this point to receive rudeness and disrespectful behavior from the workers almost every time we go, especially from the drive thru window. A few lessons from management on customer service and general respectfulness would be helpful! Except for Callie, who is a young lady who has been especially helpful and kind every time she's served us--a rarity amongst other workers we've met.

Best burger in the SIP hands down. The service was amazing. We got our food in less than 8 minutes. I like the atmosphere, it's a similar ambiance to Zaxby's. BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD.

Why is it that every time I order at the drive thru speaker they rush me to finish ordering. It's rude.

They are so quick giving you your food and they have never messed up mine or my parents orders. The food is so delicious and fresh! I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. They have cars pretty much from the time they open until the time they close!
