George's Diner, Farmington Road and KC Bypass
Pretty sad burger.
Chicken fried steak sandwich $3.00. Breading came off the entire steak and the steak is bland, but it was filling and cheap.
$2.00, Cajun slug burger. Has fried popcorn shrimp and remoulade sauce. Pretty good combination.
Chicken fried steak (left) & cheeseburger. Both bland & lack character, but was a cheap meal. 3 sandwiches 1fries 1 drink= 10.65
Little watery but tastes pretty good
1 egg, meat, biscuit and chocolate gravy. Yes, that's how they served it, all over the bowl. $3.00
2 (juicy/tender) chicken strips (breast meat), fries, and tea $5.00
2 egg, 1 meat, gravy (white) and biscuits
The hamburger steak served to the customer next to us was just a real thin hamburger patty, overcooked
Thin patty not overcooked. Ordered cheese, they left it off and cheese from fridge on a cold patty, never melts
White pine makes it look and FEEL so clean. No grunge feel.
Dammit! Stop serving me the dregs of fryer basket. Risk chipping a tooth or so short can't dip them without getting on my fingers
Area code 662
Bathroom is off the side of the kitchen and NO SIGN in the dining area telling you where it is
menu
interior, sushi and sashimi

Well, as we continue to eat our way across the South, we hit the jackpot with our stop in Farmington, MS (just outside of Corinth) at George's Diner! Yelp said they had the best Slug Burger, and since I had never heard of such a thing, we beelined it straight over there (minus the reroute due to a low clearance overpass).Everyone, including the local menfolk sitting at a large table, welcomed us in and the super friendly staff all took turns chatting with us and taking care of us. We had the Slug Burger (SURPRISE! It's TASTY!), the Farmington Burger (AMAZING!), the Fried Bologna Sandwich (Tastes just like home!), French Fries, Tater Tots, Banana Pudding (OMG!) and Butterfinger Pie (Holy Smokes!) Yeah, all that...Don't judge us!Fabulous food and amazing people, I'd say that's a WIN !! Thanks to our trusty truck camper, The Fort, and our ever-expanding waistline for taking us off the beaten path to find some real treasures!

I love their slug burgers and everyone that works there is so nice. A staple in the Farmington area. They are always busy but they will get you in and out. Bring cash! They don't accept debit or credit cards.

I give them 2 stars for the value. The quality just isn't way up there. The slug burgers have been cold EACH time they were ordered. The beef burgers are plain and lack character. The hamburger steak used for the plate is just a hamburger patty. The waitresses aren't shy about talking across the entire building to people. That's off putting when you are not involved in the discussion. The chicken fried steak is bland and the coating breaks apart too easily and you are left with a soggy sad looking patty. Even though the quality is bland and low key the value will encourage me to continue eating occasionally. On one visit, we ordered 3 sandwiches, one fries and one drink and the total was $10.65. We left unsatisfactor(ily) full.

Great breakfast spot in Farmington, not diminished by being the only breakfast spot in downtown Farmington.Lunch time sandwiches are recommended as well as slugburgers.

Possibly the best burger in town. I live across Corinth and will drive to Farmington just to do their lunch. Great sweet tea. I've never had to wait an excessive amount of time for service or food.

Food is always hot and fresh. Mostly homemade also. Prices are better than any other drive through in the area. Love this place.

Try the tenderloin and biscuit for breakfast and the Cajun Slugburger for lunch. You won't regret it!
