The $12.00 lasagna lunch special consisted of the world's smallest, yet tasty piece of food. The "garlic bread" was merely a hotdog bun, with three cuts on top, having zero flavor, just like the unsweetened iced tea that I sent back. It tasted like plain water. The salad was small, but tasty. The best part of the meal was the strawberry pie, except it wasn't included in the special. This joint is really going downhill.

We ate at Gavin's last night and had a wonderful experience. Steaks are tender and juicy and well cooked. Wait staff were amazing and very attentive. I loved being in the old downtown area and the ambience of the old building. You HAVE to try their pies. We had strawberry and it was the best ever! I think they rotate which pies so if you want a particular one I recommend calling first. You can purchase an entire pie with one day notice.I highly recommend. Right now they are only open Friday and Saturday for supper.

Stopped by for lunch. I had the club sandwich with fries. Service was excellent. Food was good. Liked the fries the best, portion was small though. Other than my lunch mate being stingy with his coconut cream pie it was a great dining experience.

Truly a gem, especially for the area. The exposed brick and two story catwalk on the inside make Gavin's one of the most unique places around. The type of food on the menu is normal for the area, burgers, steaks, homecooking, etc. However, it is obvious that they put more effort into their food than other surrounding places.I had the lunch special which included a hearty helping of delicious meatloaf, roll, corn, and mashed potatoes. Wait staff is very attentive. I will definitely be returning either for a date, a night out, or simply for lunch.

My first time to try this Resturant. I had heard if it and looked forward to visiting. Me and my companion both ordered hamburgers which was a mistake. They were small and the meat dry. The fried pickle before the meal were pretty good. But everything was much to expensive for the atmosphere and location. The bill for the two of us with tip was around $50. We had teas, shared appetizer, hamburgers, and shared dessert.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Mountain View. Service was great, food was very good with plenty of it. Restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms. The cheeseburger was fat and juicy. Chicken strips were light with no greasy after taste. The Ruben was piled with meat and sauerkraut.

Cute little bar/restaurant. We ordered the special of the day which was taco salad. My husband also ordered cheese dip to go along with it. Very simple fresh food. We will stop there again when we pass through!!
