Gary’s Pizza

Went to Gary's for lunch last week with work colleagues we were the table of calzones lol. I've had zones all over the U.S. these ranked up there with ones from Chicago. The service was great the young gentleman that waited on us was polite and kept the glasses full of tea!Thanks again for a positive experience.

It was okay but nothing more. The waitress was a dud and had no personality at all. She had a few people at our 7 top table order and then says is that everybody, knowing everyone didn't order. The didn't even refill the drinks completely. The Southwest rolls are bland, no flavor to them. Spinach dip was good but the bowl was literally half full. Wings had a sprinkle of sauce, not even covered. Calzones are huge & pretty good. Pizza was a fair pizza place. It could use much improvement & do better!

This time I ordered the Supreme Calzone. It was so massive that I had to take half of it home with me. At only $11.89, it was a good deal. It tasted good, but not great. The marinara sauce that came with it was oddly flavorless. I've never had that experience before.I was a bit unimpressed with the server (Zoe G.?). I had to prompt her to provide me with silverware and napkins. I was charged $2.69 for weak tasting iced tea. Next time, I should order water or bring in my own drink.In the future, I'll probably just stick with their pizzas. Given the lack of eating establishments in the area, this is an acceptable option. But, finding something better is possible if you're willing to travel several miles away.

It was just ok. Nothing special but nothing bad either. The pan crust isn't what I consider pan crust.

Gary's is decorated nice. Staff is friendly. Service is very attentive. Large ordered a Large supreme pizza. Pizza had a lot of toppings. Pizza tasted ok. I thought it needed more spice. I thought it could use some oregano or basil.

What in the world happen to the place. Lazy employees, half sized portions, toast instead of garlic bread, filthy restaurant and more. What happened to the atmosphere it used to have. It felt more like a dump. I walked in, a woman sitting in a booth (where they used to folded pizza boxes) with her boyfriend, husband or whatever, yell across the restaurant if it was dine in or carry out. It was dine in. Found a clean table among the ones that were not cleaned yet. As I waited, noticed the floor was dirty with straws, paper and other trash. The server, a guy came to my table, no smile, acting like it was a bother to wait on me. Asked what I wanted to drink so I told his back since he immediately turned around before I could respond. I asked if there was meat in the Lasagna, told there was, so I ordered it. He brought the salad, then asked what dressing I wanted. Should have brought them both together. When I got it, the first thing I noticed that it was more of a soup than Lasagna so I asked for a spoon. Then I noticed the portion size was half of what it used to be. No longer in big bowls but in the smaller oval shaped ones they used for sandwiches. And Where was the meat??? And not even half of a Lasagna noodle and no layers??? Come on now, that was not Lasagna. Garlic bread was not garlic bread, it was just a lump of crunchy bread without any butter or garlic flavoring. As soon as the Lasagna was dropped off, he went back and brought the receipt and never came by again. And here I was thinking about getting a dessert. Oh well...

The calzone is amazing to say the least. Gary is there to greet you and he makes sure everything is done right. AWESOME place for pizza.

Their food is always fresh and hot. Delicious food and very generous portions. Your order is ready when promised.

I tried ordering a pizza for delivery from Garys since im partially disabled. They told me i had to call door dash. I looked and couldnt find them on door dash. It looks like ill probably have to call Papa Johns for delivery.

I called last minute to serve 18 because another local restaurant couldn't accommodate. Pizza was hot and ready on time. Staff was so friendly. We arrived early and gentleman taking care of dine in area was talkative and personable. Very refreshing. Made minor wait fun. He made us feel welcome. Will definitely use again when in town.
