Fridas Mexican Restaurant

This place was rate 2.5 but its EASILY a 3 star.Yall hating on big frida. The margs were stronger than my grandparents 75 year marriage. Food was kinda mid but i was turnt so like who cares tbh. Its within walking distance of my girls crib so ill probably be back

It was nice but the price for the portion i paid for was a little too high I was actually expecting more st least on the filling of the burritos and maybe some sauce for my tacos. Though the service was ok and the waiter was nice overall my rating is 4 stars probably come for tortas and quesadilla and maybe another margarita so Frida y'all step up on the portion of your food andskr sure when I come back y'all take care of that but thank you for the experience.

My food was ok, if you like raw bell peppers on your "version of fajitas". Hubby said his food wasn't good. The tomato sauce was bad, he couldn't describe it other than to say it tastes bad. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant, but the parking lot was full. By the time we left, there was a bunch of people just hanging out in the parking lot. Everything about the service was very slow. When the check finally came there was a 15% service fee added. I asked the server what it was and he said he couldn't really describe what it was he would have to get someone else to. Then he just kept standing there. I asked him to get someone. He was gone for quite a long time. He came back and said that it was the tip. How could he have not known that or been able to describe that? We used to like Frida's, but I doubt we will be back.

I'm here at Fridas with my dad today. The service was absolutely fantastic! The waiter was so nice he gave me a free drink! Even though the tacos I ordered were small, still tasted pretty good! Very good service and would recommend for a small dinner.

Unfortunately, this was the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. I got the special dinner so I could try a little bit of everything. It came with one tostada, taco, chile relleno, burrito, tamale, and enchilada served with rice and beans. The red sauce that covered the entire platter tasted like sweet marinara sauce out of a jar. I normally love tamales and enchiladas, but they were both extremely dry. Also, the taco looked like an American taco, in a crunchy shell with ground beef and shredded yellow cheese. I was highly disappointed. The service was fine, but I will not be returning for the food.

So, the service was disappointing. Our waiter was quite impatient. The silverware did not look very clean, so we requested plastic utensils. The restroom was disgusting. The whole place just seemed drab and dreary. There was also some sort of cleaning bucket sitting near the tables. The food wasn't bad, but all the other issues made for a bad experience. This was my first visit to Frida's in years and it was terribly disappointing. I will not dine here again.

If a Mexican restaurant can't do a margarita, then it's all down hill. Frida's opened strong, then delivered with great food and plenty of it. My only complaint is that they need to move closer to my house.

I have been here a good amount of times. The waiter was really nice this day but the service has always been good whenever I have visited. The food is also good. I always get the chicken wings and chicken fajitas and queso cheese dip.

FOOD POISONING- my husband & i ate lunch there yesterday, our 1st time. we both had rice, salsa & chips, except my husband had cactus/veg burrito & black beans. he got extremely ill by 4:00pm. vomiting, diarrhea. i called restaurant to tell them, not wanting anyone else to get this ill.also saw that our server (Mario) added a 15%gratuity to our check & indicated we were a party of 6 in reality it was just the two of us. avoid this restaurant. you may get food poisoning & their devious charging practices are reason enough to avoid it.
