Fred's Fish House

This place was nasty no flavor, The food was okay but you couldn't really taste anything,The service was okay it took a while for are food,The place itself was honestly kinda fishy itself.

Love love love this unassuming community restaurant in my hometown. Mammoth Spring is a small town located on the Missouri Arkansas border on Hiway 63. Located in a storefront on the Main Street it's hard to pass by if you aren't looking for it. This restaurant is very popular and at times there is a wait to be seated but don't let that deter you because the wait is worth it They specialize in Catfish and hush puppies and it's so yummy. I had the seafood plate which comes with catfish fried shrimp and clams, each plate comes with coleslaw ,hush puppies and French fries. It's a great value and so much food you won't go away hungry

The food was cooked to perfection, , service was awesome , polite, entertaining all in all a great place!

We time our trips to Memphis so that we can eat at Fred's! We stop every chance we get. We get the 4 piece special every time.The fish is perfectly prepared and the hush puppies are some of the best I've ever had, I've had a lot! French fries are always hot and you get a side of coleslaw that is really good!I limit eat my hush puppies with the coleslaw! They have really good ice, like Sonic ice!

Very good catfish place as I drove through the country. They are true to their claim. They have excellent hush puppies and very nice country service. Building is old as is the town. That's what makes these kind of gems worth checking out. If you are hungry and love fried fish you need to check this place out

Excellent Staff, just the perfect atmosphere to sit and enjoy some delicious food. Me and my family eat here quite often.

This place is AMAZING! No frills when you walk in but It smells really good! Hands down best coleslaw and hush puppies I've ever had! I had the trout and it was really great! My kids had burgers and fries and both cleared their plates. ( I don't eat burgers and even I said I'd order one there!) Hubby had the hamburger steak! He loved it! Got a side of clam strips... I barley got one because the kids were fighting over them! Pie was good!Best of all?!? It's been our BEST meal of our vacation and cost us little more then fast food, even with a tip!

Have to eat here at least 2-5 times every time I come into town from Georgia. They have the best fried catfish and hush puppies.

The food and service are excellent! I had the catfish dinner. It was prepared to perfection. Hush puppy's were plentiful and delicious. I will definitely be back for more.

Passing through and tried Freds Fish House. We had the walleye special. Watch was a large portion of fish, amazing French fries , great Cole slaw and hush puppies. The service is fast and friendly with follow up. The restaurant isn't fancy, but very clean family atmosphere.
