Fratello’s Italian Steakhouse

We have driven by multiple times before, but decided to stop by for an early anniversary dinner (so glad we did). We went around 3 so it was an odd time and not very busy yet. The staff was knowledgeable on the menu, friendly, and had wonderful recommendations. The owner stopped by after our meal and made sure that everything was perfect. All of the food was hot and absolutely delicious! We started with the garlic cheese bread and toasted ravioli. My husband had the Ribeye (best steak I've had in a LONG time!) and I had the lunch country fried steak with sides. For desert we had the cheesecake crème brûlée style and the banana foster. You cant go wrong with any of those choices! What little leftovers we did have were quickly demolished by our PICKY one year old when we got home. We loved how cozy the restaurant was decorated and was very intimate. We also love that they do activities different nights of the week and will definitely be back to try those! We love live music!We will absolutely be back and I think that we found our new go to in Hernando.

The food is amazing here I think I have had everything on the menu and Chef Terry knows his stuff There is something on the menu for everyone I have seen some reviews on here that complain about this or that Remember We don't live in a perfect world and the people that work here are very customer service driven and they care. If something doesn't come out of the kitchen right say something and they will fix it don't wait a week and then post a negative review

Gave this place a second chance a few months later,... glad I did! Food was absolutely perfect. Sweet potatoes weren't runny, burger was cooked to perfection, and my son's lasagna looked amazing! Great service. Great atmosphere.

Terrible. The o kg thing I enjoyed was the calamari. The chicken and dressing was dry and the vegetables had no seasoning.

One of the Best Spots in DeSoto. The food and service is 2nd to none. From Breakfast lunch and dinner it is always a great experience. Wait staff is always fun and fast to anything you need. Owner Terry custom cut my steak and came to the table himself to check on our dinner.

Today we had to say goodbye to our sweet dog. On the way to the vet we stopped at Fratellos to sit on the patio and get her a hamburger. All the staff was so kind. Especially Ray. They got together to make her the best ice cream Sunday with all the toppings. And they all came out to see her enjoy it. It brought a little brightness and joy to a very hard day. Thank you to them all. Always good food here but today was above and beyond. Thank you all.

Our second trip here, but our first trip for the breakfast buffet had all my favorites on it. Service was excellent quality of food was excellent. Highly recommend this place. almost forgot the coffee was excellent

Will not go back. Meatball was raw to me. They said it was cooked medium rare, sorry I like mine a little more done. The need to ask the customer. Sent it back. Loud, was having trivia night and playing music. I personally like a quieter place. Couldn't talk to family. Just didn't enjoy this place at all.

We have tried it two times and I would rate both of them a one.First time we were ignored by wait staff until we had been seated over 20 minutes. Ordered spaghetti and meatball , it was lukewarm and the cheese in the shaker was moldy. Husband's food was also pretty bad. French fries were-cold steak was tough. They asked if we were done and when we said it was not good waitress asked if we wanted it boxed up to take home.Second time with friends who knew the owner. The owner sat at the bar and did not help wait staff at all. Staff was over whelmed and food took a long time to come out. Quality again was lacking. Hernando deserves better restaurants than this one.
