Fox Creek BBQ

Good food from great people. Go support this guy who has done nothing but support his community his entire life and now he does the same through his food! Live music on the weekends and life lessons taught all week long if you listen. Got the brisket and pork plate with the beans and it filled me up, so good and big portions.

There brisket at lunch was awesome Came back for dinner waited 30 min for drink order to be taken and there philly brisket sandwich was terrible they killed the meat over cooked where it was crispy. Ill stick to lunch if i ever go back. Sorry for the neg post but that was my experience.

Had takeout from here today. The pulled pork was great and the peppered brisket was one of the best briskets I've ever had. Look forward to eating here again soon.

Painfully slow!!! 14 minutes from entry until someone waited on me!!! Another 31 minutes before my incorrectly prepared food arrived!!! They fixed the order quickly, and the food was mediocre. Can't recommend the place at all.

Oh my gosh!!!! What can you say about this place? Well to start GREAT BBQ. The food was delicious with good flavor and the staff was very friendly. The waitress even saw I was walking around the building because it used to b3 an old train station and she would point things out to me. So if you're in town visiting go check this place out. And you can't beat the price.

Oh my lord, down home BBQ as good as it gets! Do not pass go, go to Fox Creek and get yourself an extra large bib.Pro Tip... the Piggie Pie is big enough for two! Wish I could've stayed until the band showed up.

Fantastic as always. Pulled pork, baked beans, brisket , Texas toast and sweet tea. Can't get any better than that. My wife got the loaded baked potato. Massive. She bought half of it home. All this and less than $28. Not including tip.

Amazing, random yelp find for a few friends who aren't familiar with Batesville. We questioned the location on the way there a few times but as soon as we pulled in we knew it was going to be good! Very cool old train station. I had the smoked, naked chicken wings. The owner was extremely friendly & had our food out really fast! We would definitely eat here again.

Great food and fantastic service! The ambiance was very welcoming and full of southern charm. Me and my husband stumbled across this gem and we were not disappointed! The location is also historic.

Ordered 2 Family packs of rib dinners to go, price with tax and $8 tip was $80. Got home and the ribs were bone dry, practically like jerky, with hardly any flavor, not even smoky. Thank god they included extra BBQ sauce because that was the only thing that made the ribs edible, as dry as they were. The cole slaw and baked beans were outstanding and the staff were friendly which was noteworthy so they get 2 stars for that instead of 1. Very disappointing experience. Surprised to admit that even cowboys BBQ would've been a better choice than fox river even though they don't allow you to dine in. Don't waste your $$$, go to cowboys or better yet smoke your own ribs and save $60 and know what you're getting. What a disappointing let down for a serious BBQ fan. You're a disgrace and blasphemer to the BBQ world. Not going back.
