I got to try out the hen and waffles last Sunday while visiting Ghost River Brewery. Omg everything is delicious. You have a variety of sauce options. I chose the jerk and was not disappointed. Very affordable and prepared onsite.

Ate there for the first time last Thursday! I ordered the Hawaiian teriyaki hen and hand cut fries ! The sauce was amazing ! It soaked thru the hen making the meat super juicy! It was freshly cooked. Very well seasoned! The customer service was also bomb ! Please try them out ! They are usually at Court square downtown! You won't regret it I promise

Enjoyed Flying Sobies on a Sunday afternoon at Ghost River Brewery. I loved the jerk sauce and my husband really enjoyed the spicy Memphis gold. It was pretty messy to eat, but that wouldn't stop us from getting it again!

Ate lunch via the Flying Sobies food truck at the Food Truck park at Winchester & Getwell last week. I have to say, without a doubt, this was the BEST meal I have ever had from a food truck. Unbelievable how good it was. I had the fried Cornish hen with beans and slaw. The fried Cornish hen was perhaps the best piece of poultry I've ever put in my mouth, and, I lover fried chicken, and have had it at every place that sells it. But this, this was different. The sides - the beans were excellent, not typical bbq beans, not baked beans, somewhat of a combo. The slaw - I prefer mine finely chopped, which this was not, but it was some of the best slaw I've had. The meal was so good, I saw they sell their wing sauce at Superlo. I went to 2 Superlo's before I found it at the one on Covington Pike. My guess... is that when they prep the Cornish hen, they mix some of their wing sauce in with the milk or buttermilk to give it that kick. Because the final version was a crusty dried rub that I could eat every day!Nice job Flying Sobies.

Food truck stopped by my office today - was really glad I stopped by! The hen was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. Hadn't had fried cornish game hen before and was afraid it'd be hard to eat, but it really wasn't any more difficult than fried chicken. Definitely worth a visit! Staff was super friendly too!

We had the deep fried Cornish games hens from their food truck while at the Ghost River Tap Room. The game hens were excellent. The batter was thin and crispy. It complemented not overwhelmed the hen. The hens were juicy and delicious. One order we got the waffles. They are killer. On the other order we got the beans and slaw. The slaw had a unique sauce and it was delicious. Overall we really enjoyed our meals and recommend giving these folks a try.

Enjoyed all 3 of the different sauces we had on our hens; the meat was moist; fries and waffles were fantastic. On top of all the deliciousness, the service was stellar. Wish this truck would visit ATL!

One of the best, if not the best food truck in the 901. Perfect with some Ghost River beers, or any other local drafts.
