Great Ramen place in Memphis. When we first arrived we were seated right away. For apps we ordered the steamed chicken gyozas and takoyaki. The gyozas were cooked perfect with a flavorful filling. The takoyaki came out fresh that it was still hot in the middle even after letting it sit. The filling flavor was perfect, although I wish there was a little more tako. I had a few small bits and all filling in the ones I ate. Let's get to the entrees. I ordered my youngest a kids Tonkatsu with pork belly. The portion of the pork belly was a good size and tender. The broth was very tasteful that it felt like the bones were still in the broth. My older son got the Ichiraku and that was hands down the best broth I've ever tasted. The chashu that he had in his ramen was so tender that it fell apart when lifted. My husband got the black and red Tonkatsu with pork belly and a little spice added to it. I myself do not like spice, but according to him it was good. I ordered the Gyu donburi. The meat was tender and marinated well. It is served with jasmine rice which is a little different than what I'm used to getting from other places. Honestly the donburi was the least favorite out of everything that we ordered. But all in all this is a great place for ramen. The only thing I did not like is the parking. It's a small lot with about 6 spaces. We got lucky and was able to get the only open spot.

Delicious Ramen will definitely come back. The place is on the smaller side and not a lot of parking. The service was excellent. I had the bao chashu to start. The bun was a little over cooked for my liking but over all good flavor. For my main dinner I created my own bowl. For the broth I had the tonkotsu broth, ramen noodles, spice on the side, scallions, ear mushrooms, beansprouts and pork chashu. It was so good. I never tend to finish the broth but this time I did!

I'm going to caveat my review with a "for Memphis." Good to very good ramen. I tried the Tantan today and they got the noodles al dente just right. Flavorful broth, not too much, friendly service.

Had the most delicious ramen here! I am just now reintroducing gluten back into my diet after a few years of not having any, so was glad to see that they had a gluten free noodle option! The staff was super friendly and attentive! The restaurant was beyond cute, with the Japanese style seating, table layout, and decor!! We will be back every time we can!

Flame Ramen is a perfect place to get some lunch or dinner. The interior is modern, cozy, and clean. I always enjoy being able to see the kitchen prepare my food as I wait. The service was super quick and our orders were fresh. I ordered a miso ramen with pork chasu and it was delicious. I also tried a shiyo ramen with pork belly and bok choy, which was really tasty as well. I'm excited to go back and try the specialty ramen and some of the appetizers. It was also nice having a pitcher of water on our table for easy access to water. A must-try for ramen lovers!

I have tried the location in Cordova multiple times and this place did not live up to the hype. The building was pretty cold, the floor was wet, and they had fans blowing everywhere.I ordered the Mukbang combo. I got the Black and Red ramen and the Chashu donobori. We had to ask for the crushed chili peppers. The broth didn't seem to be as hot as it was suppose to be. The food was filling and the flavor was good. This place has a small parking lot.

New favourite ramen place went here for a date night and was absolutely blown away as soon as we walked in. Literally so beautiful inside. Our food was delicious! Large portions so go with a big appetite or be prepared to take some home. The dessert was so good but you have to really like the taste of green tea. I would recommend coming here if you have a craving for a nice big bowl of ramen! I will be coming back to try the other bowls or items

This had been our favorite ramen spot. And the food is definitely still very yum - but dang, the price has gone way way up. No toppings are included in the basic price, and some, like bamboo, are 3$! that's for like. 1/2 cup of bamboo. My bowl of ramen with four toppings total came to 20$! Yikes. And then at one point one of the chefs used the back door to have a smoke and left it cracked open. Both his smoke and the frigid air blew in on us for like 3 minutes. Really messed up our vibe. Not cool. I'm sure we'll go back, but for now we'll be hitting up other joints.
