Pros:-Newer hotel-Suites offer extra lounging room for not too much of an additional cost (at the time of my stay, just $9 more)-hot breakfast offers a decent spread items (see pictures) and variety milk choices (almond, chocolate)-amenities on the wall appear to be related to sustainabilityCons:-no decaf coffee available unless breakfast hours (only regular and hot water)-queen suites do not have shower booth option available-back of hotel is facing the highway which may cause noise at nightConclusion: would come back, maybe will ask for a room facing the front of hotel!

Collierville, TN. This place is pretty much like their Element chain of hotels. Same design, same layout, but not quite up to the Element. The lack of that fancy latte machine was my first clue. The room though was nice and I slept well on a good mattress and a reasonably good pillow. It is quiet here too , once you're inside. The shower was roomy with instant hot water. The breakfast options are at the bottom of the barrel here, nothing like the somewhat of a cornucopia available at the Element. Some things just looked nasty, like the packaged Jimmy Dean sausage burgers (Two Inch Diameter!)

I recently stayed at a fail fail, and in Memphis close to the airport I've never been at a worst Marriott associated hotel. This one by far is so much better. It's cleaner nicer and has a great view. Will definitely stay here again.

May 2024 update - Pool is closed! I asked to just sunbathe in the pool area, and the owner said no. Then I asked to use a reclining chair out in the lounge area outside the pool area. Also a no. I lay on the ground outside the pool area, and of course bugs crawled on me.Blow dryer overheated right away. We had to wait a long time for a replacement, and of course it was broken too.The worst continental breakfast ever. Every morning, the coffee was out. On the 1st day, oatmeal and both hot items were gone, and the staff won't refill. The rest of the days, the oatmeal was soup. I figured out why on the last day - the attendant filled two cups of hot water and dumped it into the oatmeal. Trying to stretch it, but ruining it. Chocolate milk in fridge isn't cold at all. No spoons. They're either too lazy or cheap or both.

I'm not usually a Fairfield Inn person, but my Marriott points paid for the rooms and this hotel had the best reviews in the greater Memphis area (not including downtown). We had 2 rooms on the reservation and the check in process was smooth. The rooms looked okay but there was a faint and undesirable smell that I couldn't quite pinpoint. This is definitely a simple, no frills hotel. The beds were comfortable but the towels were too thin for my liking. There was plenty of shopping and dinning in the immediate area. We only stayed overnight and checked out around 3am to catch a super early flight. The drive to the airport was easy (about 20 minutes) during the early morning hours but i imagine that it can get bad during the daytime.

So when I went back I got a suite at the same price. It was huge. Has a whole living room and a jacuzzi tub. The bed was much better. The people that work there are super fun and interactive. Overall we as group enjoyed staying here. At least there are 6 or 7 restaurants within walking distance.

Don't stay here if you would like normal room service, competent staff (breakfast staff was fine), and operating room keys. First, the front-desk staff butchered our room booking twice. Secondly, we didn't receive housekeeping services throughout the 3 nights of our stay. Finally, our room keys stopped operating the third night because they had only booked us two nights even though we told them twice that we needed three nights and they said they would fix it. All in all, there are many hotel options around, so you should find another place to stay.

2022 and still doing the "here's the free internet that's completely useless or you can pay us extra for decent internet." A joke. I'm in minute 42 of a seven minute youtube video downloading.

I stayed at this hotel 2 weeks ago and I say my wallet was stolen out of my purse in my room at this hotel. The front desk clerk (Chad) had no compassion or empathy for my situation. She stated our housekeepers do not come to work until 10 which was untrue. She then stated all of our housekeepers are foreign individuals and they do not have cars to go up the street from the hotel to Krogers and try to use my credit cards. I contacted the national Marriott number to do a f/up because of a complaint I had filed and my case was closed per them stating they had talked with me and my husband which was untrue.
