Fairbanks Steakhouse

The waitress was frazzled and upset with the hostess for seating us. They had words in front of us. It took 15 minutes to take our drink orders. I am so put off by this behavior that I am not enjoying my meal. We are celebrating 28 years of marriage and this has been a disappointing experience thus far.Wow this keeps getting worse. The speaker for the floor is right above our table. Blackjack tourney results blaring all evening. The waitress continued to be frazzled and bordering on rude. She could not be bothered to remember my drink order, didn't bring all sides out with the entree, and rushed us out. No dessert offered? WHAT IS THIS PLACE? Sticking to Ruth Chris next year!Susan the waitress proceeded to tell us about dead cats and a birth canal eye infection. I am shooketh.

Good food and great service. Quiet atmosphere since it's upstairs and set back a little from the casino floor but still easy to get to.

Decent atmosphere once through the cigarette laden casino floor. Atmosphere was decent and service was great. Our server took care of our large group with no issues, at all. Included gratuity was just fine due to our group size, but an added $30 "service charge" was unexpected and uncalled for. There should be a disclaimer on the menu for this. All of that amounts to a 50% tip, on top of our meal. I would rather volunteer that sort of tip, or extra costs on my own. I won't pay $30 privilege fee to eat again.

The steak is really Great so are the green tomatoes show make sure to come here :) also the casino is great the service is really good this is the best steakhouse I ever Been at! The filet mignon is great so are the Sallitt

Hell no! Reservation at 730p and got food at 815p. Ordered the Mahi Mahi..... Came out burnt and couldn't cut with a fork. $39 dollars no. Applebee's has better fish. Drink was empty for 15mins. Ordered a salad and never got it. Food refired and came out in 5 mins. REALLY? WONT BE BACK TO THE WORSE STEAKHOUSE EVER.

This review is for 3.5 stars.Pretty good $25 3 course dinner meal makes Fairbanks a nice spot on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Other than that, prices seem standard for a steakhouse, especially considering it's at a casino.The 3 course meal consisted of a choice of french onion soup or salad, prime rib or salmon, and cheesecake or ice cream. The salad was a little basic, though nice honey vinaigrette. The prime rib was considerably delicious, though small; it was accompanied by mashed potatoes which I wish could've been upgraded for vegetables or baked potato as they were pretty average. The cheesecake was fine with a smooth strawberry drizzle, but probably not a must order.I think Fairbanks is a fine option looking for 4 oz of prime rib on a budget, but not a top of the line steakhouse by any means.

They have excellent king crab, and here's the bonus, your waitress shells it for you.

We found Fairbanks on accident and we were pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. We arrived about 20 minutes before they closed and we were welcomed in at the door. Our server did an exceptional job. The prime rib was delicious. One of the best I've ever had. Real mashed potatoes. The rolls were hot and wonderful with the whipped butter. Cheesecake and pecan pie were the perfect end to the meal (we got them to go). We really enjoyed this place and will return when we are in the area.

Well I made reservations for Saturday evening to celebrate my wife's birthday while we were staying here at the Hollywood casino. I don't really understand what happened but they closed the restaurant to everyone that had reservations this evening, this is what I received This afternoon to let me know."Our apologies our sister property lost property for all their restaurants and we had to take their part of 250 so we had to close for the evening. Terribly sorry for the inconvenience"Way to ruin a nice dinner I had planned for my wife's birthday! And all for people that are from another casino! We Won't be back to Hollywood Casino or Fairbanks Steakhouse thanks for ruining a wonderful birthday.
