Had a great dinner Monday night here. I ordered the fish tacos and ate every bite. It was seasoned well and hot. Had a side of fries. The fries were very tasty and I shared with friends. My friend had the Reuben and enjoyed it a lot. The service was great. AJ was very nice and his coworker as well. The decor has a variety of old relics that make the place like an antique shop of metal things. It is pretty cool. I like the decor. It is so interesting. I know I will be back as the menu is very extensive. We had a great time!

First off the in restrooms are nasty hasn't been cleaned in 4 years (i'm exaggerating) No handwashing soap but a plus was the hand dryer. When feel dirtier coming out then going in. Bring sanitizer.Second of all, I got the shrimp and and andoule sausage Poboy (could have used a side of slaw) It was good. A little on the salty side with the pickles I don't understand why they gave me a side pickle when It had pickles on their sandwich. The fries were excellent crispy outside fluff on the inside. Parmesan cheese was on top a nice touch. Third service was friendly, fast and engaging. The atmosphere was eclectic had a little bit of everybody's restaurant booth and chairs and tables from all over the place which was cool. The back ground music was a modern R&B jazz lounge vibe. My problem with this place is the restroom Need to be cleaned up and more drink selection

I enjoyed this place the last time I was in Memphis so I had to come back.I ordered the Monte Cristo and taters the first time which was good.This time I ordered the BBQ Brisket Breakfast Burrito. I was worried that this item would be filled with potatoes but it was actually filled with brisket and tasted quite good. They give you a bbq/salsa mixture as well. The burrito was huge and filling. Only took 10 minutes for them to fix my order.

We stopped by this place because we had just gotten to town and it had decent while being g ose to where we were staying. Although I'm not a big pot roast fan, the Italian Stallion was pretty good and flavorful. The cuban was also good but needed a little more roast pork IMO. The servers were very polite and explained the menu items very well to us. Overall, we would try this place again.

Very good jerk smoked wings, would highly recommend, fall off the bone and good sized wings. Jerk seasoning was also delicious. Only thing keeping this from a 5 star for me is that they don't have a buffalo sauce.

Great new location for Elwood's. Memphis is lucky to have places like this for us to eat. If you've never been to the original, you might not get the "Shack" reference if you only see this one. Go check it out after you eat here, then you'll get it. Some of the best things about this one are that is bigger, more seats, it's bright, open, has a nice coffee bar, take out deli items, a 220 gallon aquarium with salty fish, and it's a quarter of the distance from my office. Score!!Food has been up and down on my visits with some things great one visit, then the next time it is just ok. I know they are new but it does get frustrating wasting money on mediocre food. One time it was so bad I threw it away. That was right after they opened though. New restaurants are hard to get right with new staff. I completely understand and will always give a pass to this place. I will note, on my last visit, I mentioned to the manager guy at the register that I was scared to get a plate of wings because they were so bad the time I mentioned above. He went in the back and made sure I got good food. I really appreciated that a lot, but it shouldn't take that, ya know.... I'll keep going, no doubt, I do miss the old one and the crew there, so maybe I'll just split my visits between them. Long live Elwood's Shack!!!

We ate lunch around 11:30 AM on a Friday. Upon entering in from the Park Rd entrance, I was confused on whether to seat myself or wait for a waiter. The layout is really cool, just confusing since it was my first time. My wife instructed me to order at the counter in the back and pick a table. The food was ready probably 4 minutes after we ordered. My son got the wet half rack of ribs. My wife got the Chicken Bleu sandwich I believe. I got the pastrami on rye. My son's ribs were really good. My wife loved her sandwich. My pastrami on rye wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I don't think this is the restaurants fault. I pictured in my mind Katz Deli (NY). The rye bread was delicious tho. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Next time I want the muffuletta.

Their customer service was amazing. Their menu has expanded. Eclectic design and self-seating. I think I'm going to commit to once a month. They've got pizza, ribs, taco, traditional bbq and a ton of other stuff. I've nary a complaint! Go eat!

Burrito was too salty and fries were cold. The cheese was not even melted. If this place charges 7.50 for fries they better be hot or at least warm. Check your food before you leave!
