El Veracruz Mexican Restaurant

First time here and will be the last time. Food wasn't good at all. Service was extremely terrible. They sat us and waiter didn't show up until about 20-30min later. After returning he took our order without writing anything down. On my way to the restroom he stop me and asked me what we ordered because he forgot. Typical when you take an order without writing anything down that you'll forget. I ordered chicken Alfredo and received rice & cheese with chicken on top of it. I ate it because we have waited so long. But my order was wrong. And the rice was super greasy. I just ate my chicken off the top of it. One star for my experience.

The wait staff was excellent very warm and friendly. the food was definitely above average bordering on excellent. I really enjoyed my meal, We were treated well and the prices were fair.I do recommend this restaurant.

Great food and the staff is excellent! All the food is great and the Margaritas are the best in town! They have specials on them every week! Highly recommend!

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in North Mississippi. The service is always fantastic. No matter how many people are there they always seem to get you seated. The food is always incredible and they have tons of nightly specials and drinks. Best margaritas around. If you go there make sure to ask for manual or Gabriel! They are both excellent servers. They also do table side guacamole which is incredible.

The best Mexican food in Tupelo, hands down. It is consistently good, fresh, and clean. The staff are always super friendly. They have the best margaritas I have ever had. We don't eat out often, maybe 2-3 times a month, but this is our go-to when we do.

I willing never eat from.this place again I ordered from the one near ponatoc Mississippi a taco salad and the whole thing even the shell was soggy and watery eve the lettuce was old it looked like damn diarrhea it was like a plates of taco soup

The shrimp, chicken, and steak fajitas as well as the chimichanga sampler were great. Great margaritas and daiquiris. Excellent service as well.

This is probably the best Mexican food in the area--IF you go to the location on Eason Blvd. They serve delicious, hot food and they serve it quickly. If you like guacamole (I do not), they'll make it fresh for you table side. They also give tasty chips and salsa to start the meal. Personally, I recommend the chori-pollo meal. This place is often hopping busy, stop today should tell you lots of people love their food and service.

After reading all of the 5 star reviews, we were disappointed. The food was mediocre. Chips, salsa (very fresh) and queso were good, but the entrees (Shrimp in chipotle sauce) were way too SALTY making them almost unpalatable, although the shrimp seemed very fresh. I did not like this version of chipotle sauce either. The rice side was "instant" and very bland and I found the pureed refried beans too smooth (they needed a little texture) and bland also. We ordered flan for desert---the caramel sauce tasted like melted Kraft caramel candies and not the real thing. Other items on the menu may be very good, but what we had just wasn't.

Currently Idining at the new Tupelo location on Gloster. I can honestly say there isn't a better Mexican restaurant in in the area. Which says a lot coming from me because I deliver there food goods. I've delivered to many places but can attest to how clean of a restaurant it is from front to back. These individuals are highly professional in everything they do. I would know because I see so many that can't even compete with this place.
