El Toro Loco Mexican Bar & Grill

Disgusting!! I got home to bland shredded chicken and bland ground beef. I return to the restaurant and a guy told me that they DO NOT season the ground beef or shredded chicken!! YOURE SUPPOSED TO SEASON ALL MEATS .... So they serving people bland food. It was disgusting too. I took 2 bites and gagged. I got my money back and I'll NEVER eat here again.

My favorite spot to go move food for your buck the adult beverages are amazing on point comes out hot we have the fajitas chicken and shrimp with rice beans lettuce and all that good chips and salsa I always have a good time here too bad it all the way in east memphis but it's worth the drive

Eat here at least 3 times a week. Food is good, the service is fast and friendly the place is clean. The place has a good atmosphere and the waiters are very friendly and polite.

I change my mind. You previously gave us bad service at the tables, but we found a community of caring, fun l, welcoming folks who all take care of each other, and who invited us in to sit at the bar tonight.The food was great! As good as any Mexican place in the area.

The worst service and experience. Customer service was very unprofessional. Waitress didn't understand English. The translator wasn't any better. They brought us food we didn't order and didn't apologize for it. Because a member of our party wasn't pleased with her food. The lady assumed she wasn't going to pay for her order. The food was not seasoned, there was no flavor, the food was horrible. The alcoholic drink had more water tham alcohol. Although, I was there to celebrate my birthday, nothing about our night was good due to restaurant or the service. We will not be returning.

I understand that COVID took a toll on the restaurant industry and I don't even mind establishments adding the gratuity to the check buy when all the wait staff does is gather and laugh and joke instead of actually providing service is something that I really have a problem with. This will cause me to take my $$ elsewhere.

I call this place "Old Faithful!" The food is delicious and the service is typically prompt. I enjoy good people watching when I visit on the weekends. I love watching people enjoy themselves. This good ole Mexican cuisine, and the drinks are ALWAYS good, too!

My wife and I LOVE TexMex, and we DO LIKE the food at El Toro Loco Kirby in Memphis/Germantown.Two downers for tonight, though...1...ALL THREE of our orders, my wife's, my, our friends, came with significant mistakes. Example: I ordered the steak variant of taco salad, confirmed aloud by the server, twice...but got the chicken version. Nice, I often order it, but it wasn't what I ordered today. Similar booboos in BOTH other orders. They're good about taking things back, but we just put up with it, not wishing to make a fuss.2...NOISE. Only three tables filled in our section at 4:00 in the afternoon...Ours (3)...a group of 4 older ladies...and a SHOUT FESTIVAL birthday party of about 8 adults nearby. This was not "loud conversation"--it was outright shouting. I darn near went over myself to ask for a tone-down. But I think I mightn't have got it.I'd love to give this place a 5 out of 5 for its kind of establishment. But these two conditions--the noise, especially--takes it down from excellence to mediocrity.

Love this place, frequent customer, food is always timely and delicious. Having being a regular, Suma, a server at this establishment, is always making sure that I am cared for in a timely and friendly manner. I highly recommend coming in and seeing what it's about, whether it be the food or drinks, have never had a bad experience here at the Kirby location!

I wish I could give them 0 zero stars :(I ordered a pitcher of Margarita that ended up tasting like a watered down cheap tequila drink. I also ordered a 6 pc wing and honestly I should've known better than to order wings from a Mexican grill. They were disastrous. No taste, full of fat and super soft. I ordered a shrimp and steak quesadilla, and that was the best thing I got. It wasn't that it was incredibly tasty, it was just better than everything else. I also got some queso with ground beef in it and that was just nasty as ever And the tortilla chips were stupid hard. Don't know if they were over fried or just stale. Literally spent $60 on things I just threw away. Extremely dissatisfied.
