This is a cute little place I stumbled upon while running an errand. It's run by this one family as far as I can see. The parents worked in the kitchen and the daughter waitressed. The tacos were reasonably-priced so I got enough for me and hubby. Then I sat and ate my portion there because I could. I got al pastor, carnitas, and chorizo. The al pastor were tasty and had bits of pineapple in them. The carnitas tasted best with the salsa verde. The chorizo was surprisingly good and not greasy like at most places. It didn't rip up my stomach either. They have a new thing as well called Tlayuda that's not on the menu because it's new but you can request it. I happened to see the daughter/waitress get it at her table and asked what it was and if I could take a picture and help advertise it since it was new.Liked: - Al Pastor- CarnitasOk: - Chorizo

Very good, home cooking authentic Mexican restaurant. The staff is nice, service is quick, and the food is good. This is some of the best green sauce ive ever had, i like spicy, and this has a really good spice to it with tons of flavor. The red sauce is smokier than most but still really good. The chicken was delicious and fresh off a whole chicken (you can tell), and the steak is pretty good. I will come back and try more soon.

Randomly wound up in front of this place at lunch so I figured I had to check it out. The place is a little worn as expected in this neighborhood but it was SUPER CLEAN inside. I ordered the chicken quesadilla (flour but they also offer a corn version which is probably more authentic). It was very very good served with sour cream, a tomatillo sauce, and a strange almost tasteless red sauce. It would have been nice to have had some salsa but for all I know that's a TexMex ting. In any event no complaints whatsoever and I would absolutely stop by again if I were in the area. For the size of this thing, probably cheaper than Taco Bell!!!

This place is a bit hole in the wallish, but don't let that keep you from stopping in, cause wow is it great! I got 3 tacos for around 4 bucks, very filling and more than enough for me. I tried the al pastor, carnitas and carne asada, they come with onion, cilantro and fresh lime slice on two soft, hot corn tortillas, I added shredded white cheese, as I dug in I could almost imagine I was in Mexico ordering from a street cart! The service was awesome too, the lady at the counter was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend the homemade Mexican fruit drinks. She allowed me to try them all, it was hard to deiced but I finally choose the cantaloupe one, so yummy and refreshing! I love giving my dollars to local places and not those big chains, so y'all stop in you wont be disappointed!

Quiet and humble little Mexican restaurant on Knight Arnold in the former Gibson's Donut location. This ain't Tex-Mex, it's more like authentic Mexican home cooking. Two hot sauces, red and green, and they're spicy hot!
