Food good tasty and service is fast and friendly ambiance good sports on for view as you enjoy your hot and delicious meal had to go

From the time I walked in the service was horrific. There wasn't anyone at the front door; however there was 3 employees at the bar. I walked to the bar to place my to go orders. The bartender/ order taker was walking away from the bar with a bottle of alcohol in her hand to show the other 2 employees without acknowledging or speaking to me at all. The sad part about everything was the restaurant was practically empty yet the ambiance was non existent. I normally would walk out of any business after receiving this type of service; however I was placing this order for someone else. I will update my review once I taste the food.

The robot waiter is what made the night. Server was not good, food was cold, que so was definitely soup.! Was fairly clean but probably won't be back again.

So, I was in the mood for Mexican food and this was the closet place. I decided to stop in and have fajitas. I can say that I got a lot of bang for my buck! The service was really good. The waiter was friendly and interacted with us a lot during our visit. He didn't mind going over menu items with us, he checked on us frequently, and made sure we got just what we wanted. As for the food, it was really good. The portions were pretty big and the food was served hot. The next day we visited for Cinco de Mayo and it was the same way (food, service, vibe). On this night, we had drinks and they were good as well!

The server is a con artist and the management allows it. We were charged for "jumbo top shelf" margaritas but were served drinks in a small glass. The server, short (5 ft tall, white male) argued that was the jumbo glass. When I asked them manager she said that was a REGULAR size margarita but also wouldn't change our receipt because he closed the check and left to go on "break". Don't bother going to this restaurant. It definitely wasn't worth being lied to and overcharged. I hope karma gets him.

We had been to El Porton in Atlanta and had some bad experiences and thought maybe it would be different in another city - nope, this seems to be a chain wide cultural and organizational issue.We saw that the person bringing chips to the table that had an open wound on their hand which made us nervous (he initially had a glove on but then didn't). We didn't say anything about this initially. We ordered vegetarian food and one member of our party who had ordered veggie tacos had meat included. We asked for the manager who didn't act like any manager we've ever encountered. There was no apology and he just said "I'll see what happened". We told him about the server with the open wound as well - who then had a bandage and a glove covering his wound. But the manager never came back nor said anything to us.On getting our bill there was an 18% gratuity included and again I asked about this and the "manager" said it was listed on the door (as I walked out I looked for it - it was absolutely not listed). I paid for the bill with cash (we had an issue with an El Porton in Atlanta stealing our credit card info so at this point we weren't about to let them have our credit card). The server tried to just give me a whole dollar amount of change and not my 37 cents. At this point I was not going to let them short me for that even if I dropped it in the parking lot. Instead of 37 cents he gave 62 cents because apparently they can't do math (and I even told him how much he still owed me).All in, my recommendation is to not go to any El Porton anywhere. There is clearly an organizational issue here and they do not care about customers or repeat customers unless you're willing to just take whatever service and food they decide to give to you.

Found hair in my food and fingernail chips. The manager did not apologize. She just asked if I wanted anything else. Was later told from someone who worked there the kitchen is nasty and several people had complained.

Worst Mexican food I have ever been served. Over priced and very bland. I had Chicken Verde Enchiladas. The Chicken was boiled and put inside a wet flour tortilla and covered in Verde sauce. The Rice was probably cooked the day before. They had a very limited Lunch menu with no specials. Just go someplace else. Anything would be better than this place.

The young white male "server" isn't a server. He claims to be the "manager", but he hasn't served in his entire life. He collected our straw papers & then sat down at the table to take our order on the back of a napkin. He then charged $2 for lettuce on a children's soft taco, that we requested lettuce on. As we asked for the bill, he confronted a patron & got in their face

Found a fly in my salad and the manager laughed in our face and refused to give a refund. Absolutely disgusting. Horrible customer service. Would give this place negative five stars if I could.
