Landed in a cool casual Russellville AL pad this past Sunday.Lemme say, they Definitely deserve their Y rating;It a laid back eatery off Andrew Jackson Hwy.Staff are busy friendly and kind, trying best to make u happy, Know up front- There's a Franklin Co. AL ordinance eliminating the sauce anywhere on Sun. :/ :0 :/Happiness will need to come from within ;)No help from the Franklin Co. grandpa gov't underbelly.El Patron 'twas very generous wit the complimentary chips y fresh salsa;Inside seating cool relaxed with pleasant artwork adjourning the walls, with bout 15 comfortable tables spread out, each ready w Tapatio & Cholula * .Place was half packed Sun night.Most patrons were speaking Spanish. Saw two tables not ;)The classic chicken tortilla soup was Way above avg; V generous with the avocados and black beans.Know I like to brag bout different salads, but.. the Cancun Shrimp salad was Especially Fresh, c pic. Packed w Shrimp, Greens, & Tons o Avocado-All Class. * I did ask, btw, for deadlier heat, & guess what, .. .. they Frkn Delivered - A House made Hot Sauce concoction that killed it! Not for the timid ;)

Very good Tex-mex restaurant ran by a very sweet family. Ingredients are fresh and service is excellent. It's very popular among locals and can be crowded on Sundays after church.

Food was fabulous. Stopped by for lunch and it wasnt real crowded. Friendly staff and they had very reasonable prices for the quantity of food we got! Will def be back!

Great service, amazing food! The street tacos are always a favorite of mine here but everything we've ordered has been really good!

OMG. The food and service was outstanding. Walked in, was seated. The chips and salsa was served. Tasted excellent. Had a beer, ordered burrito grande with side of rice and beans. Another beer. Food came, asked for a hot sauce. OMG, I was in heaven with the flavors. Service was excellent, and the food the same. I WILL be back.

Great food first time I tried this dish it was off the chain!!! We eat here a good bit and always has good food the Tex mex dip and cheese dip is good as well.

Excellent food. Loved the homemade tortillas. Had wonderful Chile Relleno and Shrimp Fajitas!Great service and very nice ambiance for a small restaurant. Nice option while visiting Tiffin in Red Bay AL.

Food - Consistently GoodService - Not as good as it used to beAmbiance - Good$ - FairMy favorite TexMex restaurant in Russellville. When they first opened their service was second to none. After Covid, however, many of the original servers left and it is noticeable. I still eat here often.

A group of 4 flew into Birmingham then headed to Muscle Shoals to play golf on the RTJ Trail. We were starved. Stopped at El Patron and the food was great and very reasonable. Would definitely go back!
