El Nopalito Mexican Restuarant

We love to eat here anytime we are headed to or back from the lake. They have large portions of wonderfully seasoned food. The staff is very attentive even when they are super busy. They remodeled last year and it is really nice now. I enjoy the carnitas which is braised pork chunks simmered down in all these delicious spices. The rice and beans taste great not the usual bland food at all the other local Mexican restaurants. This is the best Mexican place in Como or Sardis hands down.

We usually go in at 3-5pm, It's not usually as crowded and never had any issues. Food and service is always great and we do it up. We usually spend $60-$80 before the tip. This is also the only place in miles that serves Menudo. I usually have a bowl and a few street tacos. Their Mexican Guacamole is also made fresh to order! My Wife is more adventuress. Great Enchiladas especially when they are covered in Carnitas', good Tamales too. We always have to ask for the Hot Salsa though.
