El Mezcal

After getting ready for Christmas Eve dinner all day, we decided to order Mezcal for dinner. The food was good and it was ready at the exact time they said it would be ready when we orders. Everything was there...it was a big order, and everything was hot.Please be safe and order your food for take out. And be sure to tip well.

Waitres was great! Super friendly and helpful.Food was almost inedible. Chips were stale. Guacamole was way too expensive for below average store bought guacamole. Steak burritos were cold and the steak was very low quality with too much gristle. My wife ordered taquitos ... was supposed to be 2 chicken and 2 beef ... she got 3 chicken and 1 beef. Daughter's beef taco was inedible. Ground Beef was very low quality, minced greasy meat. Her vegetables were mostly broccoli stocks. Funny part ... my Burritos had broccoli and cauliflower in them which threw me for a loop ... but in their defense my wife pointed out that the menu did say mixed vegetables in the description ... I just assumed it was an onion and bell pepper mix, like fajitas. I love supporting small businesses ... but lower your expectations if dining here. Maybe it's the result of the pandemic ... I know it's been terrible for businesses ... but it just seemed like they are charging way too much for very low quality food. I'd also recommend that they decrease the items on the menu and focus on what they do well. If we're forced to go back there again ... I'll make sure to front-load the meal with appetizer margaritas ... they looked good.

Quick and efficient service. Food is always delicious! I highly recommend it. I have yet to order something that I didn't enjoy.

I usually really love this place, but tonight the service was horrible. The waitress dropped off our food, then never came back. We had to get up and find a to-go box. When we did, we saw her on her phone in the kitchen. This location needs to find new waiters and waitresses.

I was taking a Sunday drive in the country & decided to stop @ El Mezcal. Two cars were parked in front @ 6pm. I immediately liked the layout & atmosphere, & the attitude of the employees. Then people began streaming in. By 6:20, the Main Dining Room was almost filled with parties of 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 in addition to booths & tables of 4. I ordered the San Jose' Special ~ Deep-fried shredded Beef Burrito, Shredded Chicken Taquito topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese, & sour cream, Served with Rice & Beans ($8.99). It was very good. I will return & try other dishes.

Quick Mexico restaurant, cost effective with good quality of food. Had dined couple of times, enjoyed pan gilled beef and chicken, plenty of food with reasonable price.

Food was very stale and service wasn't very good. Prices were very high. Would come more often if service was better .

Bad takeout option. They greatly exceed menu prices when you order takeout and they don't bother to explain that to you or try to listen to you when you call. So they charge you double menu prices and get the order wrong.

We have been enough times to be part of the family. The service is good 90% of the time. The food is consistent and the cost is affordable. You can get in and out as quickly as you want.

Great food. Quick service! Best dish in my opinion quesadilla Mexicana I usually order to go. It takes 8 minutes and I'm headed to the house fresh hot meal!
