El Mesquite Mexican Grill

I have been here 4 times in 2 trips to Pulaski. The service is good, prices are below average and the food is very good. At lunch they have a buffet, you can create almost any variety of taco or fajita, several different enchilada choices and other options. Dinner menu is almost to diverse to pick from. On my recent visit I asked for ceviche which was not on the menu. He said they do not have it on the menu due to demand but he could make it. They only make shrimp, it was very good but I prefer fish. My dinner was called Mi Casa, 2 cheese enchiladas and 2 pork. If I find myself in Pulaski again I will be back.

While in town for business I stopped by and had some delicious fajitas. The taste was great and the serving size was over the top. Top that off with good customer service and this place is a winner!

Just moved to Pulaski from Madison Alabama...originally from central Texas. Came to have dinner with our new neighbors and honestly I didn't have high hopes because I hadn't found any decent Mexican since leaving Texas but I was pleasantly surprised!! The food was delicious, the waitstaff was attentive and the manager was very friendly. We will definitely be back!!

The food is so good and you are treated like family. Hands down the best place to eat in Pulaski. 10/10 Highly recommend!

Isn't much. Quality of food sucks and service sucks as well!! Spoke to manager upon leaving and he was no better!! Restaurant not clean nor restroom. Could not recommend to anyone. Please go somewhere else.

Buffet items were very flavorful and lots of options. Seasoning was spot on. Tried the steak fajita mix, beef burrito, corn and tomato mix, cheese sauce, tortillas, guacamole and jalapeños. Salsa was ok, chips were fresh. (Seen shredded chicken, bean burritos, seafood mix, and lots of fruit selection. Biggest complaint was most hot items on buffet were room temperature at best. Had to put the cheese sauce on most items just to warm up. It was about the only thing that was hot. I will come back just need to turn up the heat on warming table. If I had one suggestion please put lights over the warming table so you can see what you are wanting to eat at the buffet. Time 11:45 so I can only suspect the food was not sitting out long before I got there. It should have been hot. Last but not least I tried the cinnamon chips for dessert. They were good and plenty of seasoning. Price for lunch buffet was $10.95Turn the heat up the buffet table and put some lights on it, you will see good results and a 5 star from me next time.

Went to El Mesquite for takeout dinner which mind you is usally good. I ordered the Monterey Chicken which is a chicken breast covered with grilled onions, mushrooms and nacho cheese with rice and beans. When I got home I didn't have any cheese at all. It was very dry and bland , no flavor .My husband also stated his was very dry and had no flavor we thought the fajitas also had melted cheese sauce or some type of moisture, it was dry as a bone . I will attempt to attach pictures.

When you think of Mexican cuisine El Mesquita has is! It is one of the best in Pulaski. Obviously this is one of our favorite places to go. Great food and friendly staff but sadly not tonight!Few dishes weren't prepared right like how they supposed to be present it,on top of that they were under seasoned missing some spices? The server was not attentive kind of rude or he was trying to be funny? I'm not sure? Just not impressed and unhappy with the service. After all I'm not so sure if we wanted to give it another try after tonight. Blame it on Covid-19's .
