El Jardin Mexican Restaurant

Moved here from SoCal and good Mexican food has been VERY hard to find. Walked into this place and you can always tell if it's good by how cold the beer is & the chips and salsa. Icy cold mugs with freezing beer and good salsa with fresh crispy chips. Vicente Hernandez playing & cumbia... need I say more. Made me feel like I was back in SoCal. Food came, everything was delicious and NOT smothered in queso. Thank the lord. I don't get why queso is so huge here it's NOT a Mexican thing! Will definitely be back here frequently.

Food is always consistent. Servers are great and quick and knowledgeable. It's been upgraded over the years and just keeps looking better and better. Can't wait to go back.

I used El Jardin to cater a meal for one of my doctors offices in Lewisburg. The food was fabulous, I was actually surprised how amazing it was. Everything that was ordered looked great and we got rave reviews from the medical staff. I will definitely be coming back soon

I eat Mexican food several times a week. Overall, nothing beats a great Tex mex meal, but those are impossible to find in this area of the state. I can get pretty good and that's better than nothing for me. But I am so glad I discovered this hidden culinary delight when I was driving home from my Dr office. I was expecting the same mostly bland flavors I get everywhere else and boy was I blown away. It started out with chips and salsa that were fresh, hot, crispy, and not those thin nothings most serve. They had a hearty stone ground taste to them. Then I had the Mexican Style Tacos, which were $3 cheaper than the place I've been going and twice as good. The corn tortillas were again fresh and not falling apart with a wonderful corn flavor. I had a chicken, a steak, and a chorizo. I love to mix them all then put that in the shells. Meat had a real sizzled on the grill flavor to it. Cilantro, onions, and avocado were all fresh and delish. I'd say the only not perfect item was the rice. It was bland. But I just mixed it up with my beans and it was great. Overall, I can't wait until my next dr visit and may actually drive out of my way to experience this again. Service was great. Very happy with it!

It's currently my preference for Mexican food in Lewisburg. I don't like their salsa but their food is good and the service is always friendly.

There are a lot of choices for Mexican food in Lewisburg but this will always be my #1. Food is always on point. Servers are always friendly and attentive. They just remodeled and it looks great.

Service was excellent. This is the best Mexican food out here. I couldn't find any Mexican food out here that wasn't lathered in cheese sauce or heavily seasoned in Tex Mex flavor. Beer was in an icy mug. Tables and restroom were clean. No sticky surfaces. I will drive 35 minutes to eat here again. This place would compete with Mexican joints in SoCal.

Food is outstanding, service amazing ! Reasonably priced, this gem is our favorite Mexican food go-to!

The food was delicious as always but I knew something was different when he arrived today and the parking lot wasn't packed like it usually is. I wish I would have gotten his name so he could have gotten the recognition he deserves, worst service with the worst attitude I have ever received at a sit down restaurant. Management needs to talk to their employees and make sure they actually want to work there. I assure you our server should not be employed in a position where he has interactions with the public. I pray he was having a bad day. Also if he would have taken his headphones out he might have been able to communicate with us better. * notified management on the way out the door
