El Agave Mexican Grill

This is a great Mexican restaurant. I have eaten here many times on the way to my daughter's house. The food, service and atmosphere is great. I do recommend this restaurant.

The cheese dip is the BEST in the city ! It tastes great with a little salsa added. We eat it frequently with chips for an easy supper !

Our family loves El Agave! It has been a favorite of ours for years. Whether eating at the Sunday buffet or ordering from the menu, El Agave is rarely a miss. Freshly made chips and great service keep us coming back!

Honesty I was never disappointed by a meal I had here and I've had plenty. The ambiance is nice and there are lots of TVs to catch different sports and highlights. The horchata is pretty good in my opinion and the menu is fairly large but straightforward. The biggest highlight for me is the house-made guacamole that they make table side. It's so fresh and tasty and enormous. It would be very easy to share with 3-4 people. Some people swear that the best burger in town is here, but I can't comment on that as I always stuck to the Mexican options.

Update: I came back here again and the place didn't disappoint always impressed with the fast service, friendly servers, and cheap food think I've found a favorite while down here.

Exceptional food and service and ambience. Robust glassware and plates. Guacamole was fresh and mango margaritas were great.

They changed their chips from thin and crispy to hard and much thicker. They aren't as salty anymore. The salsa isn't spicy anymore it's sweet. I have gotten take out delivery and dine in and they all suck. I miss the old recipes! Go back

Awesome lunch on our travels back home. It is just a tad off the beaten path of fast food establishments but is well worth the visit!

It was recommended to me by a local person. It was THE BEST food, servers and atmosphere. If you are in Nee Albany it is around the corner from Lowe's.
