Drake's - Franklin

Stopped in for dinner on a business trip since it had a varied menu and all of us could agree. There are two big rooms and bars. Good size TVs but can get loud. I ordered sushi and was pleasantly surprised. I've had worse sushi at sushi restaurants. The dumplings were also very tasty, I ordered a mocktail and it was very tasty. It took a good while to arrive as they were training two new bartenders and my waitress had a trainee as well. Not sure if there is a turnover problem or they just do a lot of training on Thursday nights!

I like it.Nothing crazy good, but a solid spot that delivers every time. Great burger menu, and surprisingly... great sushi menu! Only note is they are very rice heavy so I always have to remove a little from the outside of my rolls.Fried pickles are good. Perfect crunch and the ranch has a kick to it I can't quite describe, but tastes fresh and made in house.Parking gets crazy on the weekend but huge lot so you just have to walk a little more, no biggie. I don't love how loud it is inside, but that's a minor thing. Service is lovely and everyone I have ever encountered is amazing.I will always come back here as a great choice with a wide variety of options -- check em out!

This was an ok place. The vibe is really nice and it is a great place to watch sports and enjoy time with friends. The service was quick, attentive, and everything you'd expect. The issue for us was the food. We tried the Spicy Roll, Drake's Patty Melt, and All American Mini Burgers. Everything was just OK. The beef for the burgers, while cooked well, was lacking flavor. Great cook on the tator tots as they were crunchy yet soft inside. The sushi menu is big. Actually, that menu along with the main menu has a ton of items, so that may lead to execution problems. If we were to go back, we'd just order drinks and relax in the indoor/outdoor area.

Love this place. Favorite dish is the sushi and steak combo. Lots of food. Great drinks. Fun atmosphere

Still our favorite restaurant in Franklin. Fun sports bar vibe with great drinks and food. Best combo is sushi and sliders! They always make a spot for us even when it's busy. (Specials are always fab too.)

Go to Drakes. We've lived in the area for over a year and just discovered Drakes a month ago. We wanted takeout sushi, and Drakes was closest. You wouldn't expect sushi from what looks like a neighborhood bar when you walk in, but it was excellent. We returned this evening for dinner and to try dining in the bar. The food was great, but the real surprise was the amazing service. In most restaurants, the servers may be attentive, but they seem focused on their own tables. At Drakes, the entire staff worked as a team. If there were an empty dish on the table, whoever walked by would ask if we were done and then take it away. It was great to see such fantastic service. Mahni and her peers did a great job taking care of us, and we look forward to our next visit. Really, you should go.

Good sports bar, very diverse menu, friendly, attentive service. We enjoyed the small plates, pork dumplings, unagi nigiri style, and shrimp tempura. A California roll topped it off. The unagi was not served warm and the kitchen was a little slow.

Brought my meetup group there. Joel, the manager, could not have been nicer! Established a meeting area for us and provided great service.Great venue and look forward to returning!

Drake's is a chain restaurant that is tough to really describe...its unique in ways, but also very similar to other chains of similar fare. Best I got is a mix between a TGI Friday's and Chili's that also happens to serve sushi...This particular Drake's, which is one of five in Tennessee, sits in the Thoroughbred plaza in Cool Springs, right next to the Starbucks and connected to Carrabba's. The front portion of Drake's is the bar area fitted with high top tables and a decent size bar. The space is outfitted with TV's and even garage doors that are open when the weather allows. The back half is the dining room that features booths and standard tables along with TV's as well. I have dined in both areas, and both have their own vibes. Food wise, Drake's is just ok on quality and on pricing. Something are decently priced like the burgers which average around $14, most of the appetizers are well priced with the exception of the quesadillas and loaded tots...both coming in at $15. Then you scope the sushi menu and you may start rethinking your ordering strategy. Most of the sushi roles, even the standard ones, come in at $10+. I have had a roll or two prior and they are quality rolls, but I would not come here for a full sushi dinner. I would, which is what I have done, add a roll as an appetizer. Quality of food is standard for a spot like this. I have had the burger and fries, quesadilla, wings, tots and a few rolls, and specials. The only reoccurring issue we keep experiencing here is service. I am not sure their service standards relating to helpfulness, but none of our servers have ever been timely or overall helpful. There is always at least one thing that never makes it to the table, even after requests...and also, I usually always have to seek someone out to get a refill on a beverage. Overall, Drake's is an ok spot. I have had more success here at lunch than dinner, so I have that noted for any future visits that may happen...

Absolutely terrible. Would've rather gone to McDonald's. Waited 45 minutes for food. They brought out 1.5/ 5 meals after 45 minutes and only gave discounts on those two meals. The other 3 meals came about another 10 minutes later and paid full price. Sever never came up to express apologies, never came to refill drinks... nothing. And food was cold when it finally came out. Plenty of better options right down the road
