2 YELP IDs. This is the same place- NEW owner. Not closed as of March 2022. Dinner on a Thursday night. Well vodka, steak, baked potato, Cesar salad, chicken salad. The steak was AMAZING. Tender, flavorful, juicy and a really great cut. Cesar side salad had tomatoes. This is weird to me. It was ok. Baked potato was very plain and on the raw side. Chicken salad was basic, but good. Service was friendly, fast, attentive and personable. Space was attractive and clean.

Stopped in here for dinner on a Friday night. Molli was our server/bartender. She was outstanding! She had personality and hospitality!! And man, could she make a delicious drink! Our food was absolutely amazing! The steaks were very tender and we loved the farm to table concept. If we lived in the area, we would be regulars!!

Oh my goodness! The best steak I have ever eaten! Can not believe the portions! Come prepared to share or take home a lot! Steaks are 1.5-2 lbs depending on your selection. The flavor was amazing! Had a fried shrimp appetizer that was so delicious! Loved the cozy, intimate atmosphere. Service was great. This was my 3rd time to eat here. Can't wait to eat here again. You will not be disappointed!

This review should have been written a few years ago pre pandemic. The food was very good and the amount served was far more than I could eat. We plan on going again soon and I will write an update. I believe it's under new management.

I have been looking forward to trying Doe's for a long time. We were passing thru Russellville, AL so I thought it was a great opportunity. Walked right in hardly anyone was in the restaurant at 7 on a Friday night which should have been an indication. The server was great, very attentive and the atmosphere was very nice. However, the food was just average if not below. The sides were great as were the tamales but it ends there. The main item the steaks are IMO no better than one from a chain restaurant. I had the 14oz filet and my wife had the ribeye. They were very salty and both very tough. Even the appearance of my wife's ribeye did not look right. My filet was a bit hard to even cut which is suppose to be their best steak, I was told. After paying the 135 bill for two I will not be back. I have no issue paying when its great but I did not even eat half the filet and would have left hungry if not for the great sides and tamale appetizer. VERY DISSAPPOINTED

We ate at Doe's in Russellville Friday. We had eaten there several times before the pandemic but this was the first since they reopened. In the past it was great every time. Friday's experience was quite different. Our steaks, fries and asparagus arrived cold. The only thing warm was the baked potato. I was starving so I ate most of mine although I detest food that isn't served hot. My husband took one bite of his filet and tried one fry then pushed his plate away. I ordered the strawberry shortcake and it had so many little pieces of stem/leaves in it that it took more time trying to pick them out than to eat. My review is rated low because the food was served cold. We will not be eating there again. A meal that cost $100+ should be an excellent meal enjoyed by both people at the table. Perhaps they've changed management/owners since the decor was different. Sad that a nice eating establishment would allow food to be served cold.
