Love going to Dixon Gardens in Gallery. It was a beautiful day outside, so I decided to take a little field trip to the gardens. There is a pumpkin house on display for the fall and harvest season. It's a very cool structure made out of different types of pumpkins and gourds. At the entrance gate, there was a very nice gentleman. He checked me in without any issues since I am a member. He was very nice and cordial. The yearly membership is quite affordable. I have been a member for the past two years. I enjoy coming to see the beautiful plants and gardens. As the seasons change, the gardens are updated to display the beautiful new flowers and plants. It is a place to experience peace and calm with so much natural beauty. I will be back to reflect and meditate with the Lord.

This is a stellar art gallery. Because of that, when some relatives came into town and they wanted to visit the Dixon, I heartily agreed. We spent quite a bit of time examining the various paintings. As it turns out, my aunt had taken classes during the 1970-s from some of the California-based artists mentioned in some of the exhibits. (She is a juried sculptor.)After strolling through the beautiful and peaceful gardens, we retired to the indoor cafe, where we indulged in some delicious and well-crafted foods and beverages and discussed our observations of the museum.I've visited the Dixon several times over the course of the past four decades, and highly recommend it to anyone with even a slight interest in art. tip: Due to the continued generosity of local patrons, admission is now free.

I have loved the Dixon gallery for years :) it is free for all visitors throughout 2024. My favorite is the residential exhibits. The wall colors, mantles, rugs, and furniture feel so rich and like I am stepping back in time. The garden is especially vibrant and peaceful to walk through

We brought our kids here for the tulip gardens and it was so beautiful. Even took pictures for our daughter's first Easter pics.! We must go back when we have ample amount of time to browse around. The best part is that it's FREE..!!!

I went here to get some quiet time to myself, but it is also a wonderful place for families, dates, or friend groups! The grounds are beautiful and it is FREE year-round.

I was able to visit the Dixon Gallery and Gardens today while at a private event. Our group focused on the Black Artist in America and the paintings were beautiful yet amazing. I loved how the focus is set on the Great Depression up until the Civil Rights. We were told to expect two more exhibits (2023, 2025) that'll provide more insight into Black America. I can't wait to be able to view it! I did take a few photos but wanted to be respectful and live in the moment of these wonderful paintings. Being that admission is free through the rest of the year (possibly longer) I will definitely return to view more exhibits and the gardens!

Very wonderful exhibit and the gardens are beautiful on a sunny day. I imagine it's more exciting during summer months when the plants can get the most sunlight. All areas may not be wheelchair accessible as an FYI. They serve food here as well but only lunch, which I think ends at 2 or 3 pm.

Terrific art and cafe. The menu at the cafe stands out for deliciousness and reasonable prices. Been to this gallery twice so far. Love to see the gardens change through the seasons. Don't miss the permanent collection. The current Breck exhibit is exquisite. So sad he committed suicide. His art lives on.

It is definitely worth seeing, especially while admission remains free! The gardens were unique and enjoyable, providing about 30 minutes to an hour for most (depending on speed and admiring time). The gallery was especially quaint, as only one exhibit (of a maximum of two) was on display; with that said, the artist's work was wonderful. The gallery also includes a coffee shop to get refreshments and at least one friendly cat prowls the gardens.
