I very recently visited this store and bought some caramel apples. Oh. My. God! So freaking delicious! The sweetness of the caramel coating was perfectly balanced with the tartness of the apples. The service at this shop was, as always, efficient and friendly. I only wish that they had customer loyalty program! When we got the caramel apples home, we opted to slice them up. This was due to past bad experiences with grocery store purchases of the same product (i.e., bruised/brown apple flesh). No such problem with Dinstuhl's, only fresh and unblemished fruit.Dinstuhl's products are like they're from another, better planet. Even their milk chocolate bars are a creamy and delicious dream of flavorfulness. My family is planning to return for additional caramel apples, as these masterpieces are only offered on a seasonal basis.

The sugary treats are pretty good stuff. A good selection of candies etc. We enjoyed all we tried.

Dinstuhl's Fine Candies is my go-to store for Special Occasions ~ Shelves & shelves of treats, small gifts, & balloons that the Ladies can quickly assemble on the spot.I recently discovered that they make Chocolate Covered Blackberries, so my Ice Cream slush fund has been temporarily diverted . . . Did you know they offer Sugar Free candies that are delicious too? I've bought these for friends, & tasted them myself. The factory is local, & this store is conveniently located in Germantown Village Square, Poplar Avenue @ Germantown Road.

Fantastic chocolate and candy shop with a long, Memphis history. Everything I tired was great. The fudge is out of this world.

Cute little chocolate shop in Germantown! My favorite is the cashew crunch. Just the right amount of crunch and makes a great little gift for the holidays!

Highly recommend if your looking for a yummy gift. I love to support local businesses. As they are only open until 6:00, I was stopping by on the way home from work at the last min at 5:50. The two girls working were lovely! They could have been frustrated with my last min entry, but instead were polite, welcoming and kind. I love a place where they still wrap and you can leave with your gift ready to deliver too. They didn't rush me, took the time to help me find what I needed and wrapped two separate gifts for me. The store is small, but has plenty to offer. The parking is well lit and feels safe. They are famous for their cashew crunch, but all of the chocolates and various offerings are all great. The kids always love to come in for an extra special treat. An upscale candy store is such a fun surprise. In this world of hustle, bustle, you feel like you're time traveling with the old world attitude when you go into this sweet store. It's speciality, gourmet candies, nuts, and treats & gifts of all kinds with a shopping experience to match. I picked up some turtlettes for our new neighbors and they loved them. If you need a thank you, baby, welcome-whatever gift, want to treat your grandkids or yourself, this is the place to go.

Until recently, the last time I patronized this establishment, Jimmy Carter was President, Elvis sightings were the real deal, and Jerry Lawler was King of the Mid-South. I am most happy to report that at least with this establishment nothing has changed and the candy is still some of the best I have ever experienced. Only three storefronts all with very high traffic, a nice website, and proper Southern hospitality still alive and well. The merchandise turns quickly and is always fresh. The price per pound varies with Dinstuhl's chocolates in accordance with the ingredients . When I order online out here in California I receive a superior product promptly shipped and well packaged at a lower cost than what I can find locally out here in California.Recently I wanted a special custom order for some of the high gourmet fruit flavored candies that they do not make themselves and as such were not on their web site. One brief email was promptly returned by their Operations Manager Marissa and I got everything I needed individually packaged according to my specific requirements and nicely gift wrapped for Thanksgiving presents. I just cannot say enough how much I appreciate that level of attention to detail, the customer service being as sweet as the candy itself

5 stars on their truffles because they are truly my favorite and worth breaking my diet over. I'm giving them 4 stars today just over their counter staff. Granted, it is the customer service I have become accustomed to since moving down here but still, I shouldn't be treated differently on my off days, when I'm not dressed up than on the days I am. I'll definitely be back because their chocolate is that good and worth every dime but perhaps they could remind their staff that most people dress average on their days off from work and they shouldn't be treated inferior because of it.

I purchased today their box of Chocolate Covered Strawberries on a very special day. We were eating them but we didn't expect the strawberries to be small, sour, and disappointed. They were not made fresh either. The chocolate was excellent. I expected a premium product from a high end chocolate store. There was no love put into this treat.

I have already reviewed the Dinstuhl's location on Grove Park (we love it!), but visited this one Friday with my son for a "Yay! It's the weekend!" treat. We wandered the store and he finally decided on a Whirly Pop- the big, colorful lollipop. He asked if he could start eating in the car and I told him I did not have a way of getting it open, but could when we got home. The sweet girl behind the counter quietly offered to open it for me before we left (so little ears couldn't hear if I said no) and gave me a bag to put it in if he did not finish it in one sitting. Little details like that are not only great for customer service, but help make a mom's job easier. Thanks, Dinstuhl's!
