Ding Tea

I'm in town for graduation, and staying at a hotel that is on the street adjacent to Ding Tea. So I passed it on my way into town. As soon as I saw the tagline said a Taiwanese Tea House, I was in! A Taiwanese friend introduced me to milk tea years ago, so I assumed I'd find some authentic flavors at Ding Tea. And yelpers, I did!My first morning in town, I headed straight for Ding Tea after breakfast and ordered a taro milk tea, prepared hot, with medium sweetness. I allowed the young man working the register to suggest a topping for me (I think he said the classic crystal something or nother). My tea was everything I wanted! The only thing I'd change is ordering low sweetness next time; the medium was about at my sweet limit (but I don't like things too sugary). I will absolutely patronize this establishment again before I leave and on all future visits to Jonesboro. This is clearly a family owned small business. The young children were there, and the son took my order while dad guided him. Although the drink I ordered is typically prepared cold, the dad/owner made it hot for me and stepped back the sweetness.

Service was great. Got the peach milk tea and the flavor wasn't the best didn't really taste like peach. May have to try another flavor to better judge this place
