Order at the counter and fix your iwn drinks. Sit at any ioen table or booth. My wife & I split the 'Three-Meat Combo Plate;' with Briscuit, Ribs, and Turkey. It came with 2 sides, so we chose Potato Salad & Fried Okra - then added a Baked Potato for a few more $. With tea, our total was under $30 and we took a bit of meat home to our dog!The Ribs & Briscuit were excellent (super flavor even without the sauce), and my wife enjoyed the Turkey. Fried Okra was heavily breaded but dry and crispy! . Potato Salad was yellow (mustard - not mayo) just like we prefer! I piled beef inside and ate the entire Baked Potato - skin and all! Yumm! The Sweet Tea was cold & fresh; it tasted like fresh air on a warm summer day! Friendly staff diligently cleaned tables for the next wave. Well done, Dexter!

No bad. Not great. Kind of middle of the road, bbq. Had the large rib plate with baked beans and potato salad. Ribs had a good flavor, but we're a little over cooked and dry. Kind of stringy. The baked beans are very basic porknbeans with a sweet bbq sauce and a little pepper. Very forgettable. The potato salad was pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way for this. But it wasn't aweful.

Nice place. Stopped for quick lunch at 3pm, we placed our order at the counter right away. We got a pork sandwich with fried corn on the cob and the half chicken special with fries. All the meat was really good. Chicken was smoked nice, breast was a little dry but the sauces at the table were good for that. There was a soft serve machine near the seating areas, I assume it was free and self-serve so we got a bowl of it before leaving. Good food, place was clean, service was friendly and we got our food fast. 5/5

Me and my granddaughter stopped at this location on a recent trip. We got the 2 meat combo and we received more food than we could eat. The brisket and ribs were so good and the Cajun French Fries were seasoned perfectly and the breaded okra could have use a little bit of seasoning and the fried corn on the cob was good

Decent but a little tired, kijd of like the rest of the restaurants in this tiny town. It's worth trying once.

Turkey dry. Ribs dry. Both house sauces are not good. Service was the only thing positive.

Very Good chopped beef sandwiches, great ribs Spicy Cajun fries and fresh Cole slaw and of course sweet tea . Well worth the visit

Husband and I were traveling through on our way south. We found this restaurant by searching maps. It's a small restaurant with walk up ordering. The staff was friendly and quick. The food was good to very good, the sides were just as tasty.

This was my first time to visit Dexter Bar-B-Q, but I thought I would try it out based on other Yelp reviews. I ordered the 3-Meat Combo Meal with ribs, brisket, and turkey. It had 3 or 4 ribs, 4 slices of brisket, and a single slice of turkey. The turkey slice was very dry, but the ribs and the brisket were moist and flavorful with a nice rub on them. I had fried okra and coleslaw as my sides, which were serviceable, but not especially memorable. The people who took my order were very friendly and accommodating and I will remember that and will come back again on a future visit to Sikeston.
