DeSoto Liquor & Wine

This was a good place to stop by and grab a bottle of wine or just about any liquor you're looking for.

As an out of towner, we had been scouring local liquor stores for good bourbon. It wasn't until we found Desotos we found the largest cache of liquor and bourbons anywhere I have ever seen. The owner and employees are extremely knowledgeable in all facets. I would look for anything they personally or hand selected. They are not only purveyor but fans of good bourbons and tequilas. Don't bother calling to see if they have it, just come in "because they probably have it in stock". Their pricing is very good and they have a wide range from inexpensive to super high end.

Website said they had a certain bourbon in stock. They didn't. Counter lady had to call the boss to find out where it was. He said not in stock but they had another hard to find bourbon hidden in the back room they wanted $199 for. That is approximately four times the retail value. Pretty unethical business practice.

Was my favorite spot until Management or Ownership changed. Shopped here from the opening of the establishment. I always recommended to friends and people visiting. But lately not so much. Even visited today shelf price $8.99 for item I picked up charged $9.99. Too many options to deal with shady business. Not about the money all about the principle. Sadly my last visit too many bad experiences lately.
