Demo's Barbecue and Smokehouse

YUCK! Super disappointed compared to the hyped reviews. Is there ANY place in Jtown that serves FRESH bbq? The "brisket" was dried out and tasted like a dirty fridge smells, happens when you nuke cold meat. The pork had zero flavor. Fries were like spikes and cheese sauce from a can. For $25 I expected at least a tiny bit of effort. The filthy ceiling tiles should have been our cue to exit before wasting money and having an alien baby trying to birth from my stomach for 3 hours after. Didn't finish half the meal and I am a total fry-aholic. Bad.

One of the highest rated barbecue places in Jonesboro and since we're about an hour from the barbecue capital of Memphis, I figured that this would be a good bet for dinner. And it was okay, but definitely not great.From outside, it smells heavenly. Great barbecue smoke for sure. Inside, line up to place your order at the counter and a very nice woman got me straight. They do have a surcharge for credit card purchases, so if you're willing to pay cash, your meal is cheaper.No numbers, you'll need to remember what you ordered for when it's shouted out. Meanwhile, grab your drink from the soda fountain and plasticware.My dinner sure looked good. Potato salad and onion rings with a two meat combo (three ribs and pulled pork), with a slice of Texas toast. The potato salad was the highlight here - creamy and flavorful and just the right firmness of potato. The onion rings were underdone on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Strong onion flavor and crispy. The pork was dry and flavorless, needing a healthy squeeze of sauce from one of the bottles on the table. The ribs were also a bit dry but they had a good flavor and plenty of meat on them.On a Friday evening at 5pm, this was far from past the end of the day. Best BBQ in Jonesboro. Been coming here since I was kid and never had bad service or a bad meal. Buildings always had a nice rustic theme as well.

First time going here after being in Jonesboro for 6months. I heard great things so decided to give it a try. I tried the three meat platter (choosing beef, chicken, and rib) with beans and potato salad as my sides. Pretty good southern BBQ! The beef was a little dry, to the point I mixed it in with my baked beans. The ribs were great and the chicken was good too. The sides were excellent. I tired both of their house BBQ sauces and they were ok. I couldn't notice a difference in the hot and regular which is a bummer. Service was very fast and the ambiance is calm and clean. I would go back. Sorry for not having a photo, I remembered when half my plate was gone.

Food was just okay. We ordered 4 things and all tried some of each to get an idea of the place. Not impressed. I have heard the chicken is really good & that's the one thing we didn't try, so I may give it another shot.

Good BBQ, not cheap of course but the food is very good. A local institution. They don't serve beer so if you're looking for a brew with your 'que, look elsewhere.

best barbecue around for hundreds of miles (maybe thousands!) around!I have to have some of their sandwiches very often,because I am addicted and love the slaw.

Food was Delicious, Ribs per tender , Hospitality was Great! Friendly Staff and a Place you can enjoy with the entire Family ! Very Clean and well Managed !

The food is always great. The employees are always super friendly and go the extra mile. We received our meal before we ever go our drinks and got seated. The restaurant was very clean. There was a lady going around spot cleaning as well.

My husband and I eat here often. We love the ribs and the BBQ salad. Nice workers too.
