I mean, there isn't any nearby alternative and we haven't gotten food poisoning, so it's not the worst. I just would t pick it if there was another place nearby.

Looking for a small town diner? I mean truly, this is it. Dont put your expectations high for this place, it isn't the cleanest and closes at 7 pm. I think its mostly known for breakfast, but we went for dinner. Most of the items on the menu are between $5-$10. I was a little sketchy about the menu, but I had the 2 piece fried fish because everyone in my group said it was amazing, and it did not disappoint!! I would bet its the best thing on the menu, so id strongly suggest that! I'll be back next time I'm in town!

Food is mediocre. Pretty dirty in there and very old seating chairs that are very uncomfortable. No one wears a mask, no sign saying to wear a mask. Tables were dirty and ours was sticky. No social distancing. You sit where u want. No one seats your or greets you or says hello or anything. Tables aren't 6ft apart. The employees don't wear masks, none of them. No gloves But they do however have a TV in there and a sign that says they will not be showing any NFL bc "they stand for their flag". But they don't care if they give you COVID or vice versa. They don't care to not follow the laws and rules put in place by the government for everyone's safety and have respect for others though. Very unclean and cluttered environment. Wont be back.

Good, reasonable food.My cheeseburger 4.35 had really tasty meat patty and all the trimmings.Hubby had catfish sandwich. 4.45. He said it was very tasty and filling.Would definitely stop here again.

Styled as a 50's diner with large portions and very friendly service. Bertha Mae comes out from the kitchen to check on you and say hello. We had the breakfast. The sausage and country ham were excellent, flavorful, and not over salted like they sometimes are. The biscuits are so light, the only thing holding them on the plate is the ample and "just like my mother's" gravy. The eggs were perfectly prepared to order. If you are looking for a country breakfast, you can't go wrong at DJs. Drove by in late afternoon and the parking lot was packed, so guess this is a local favorite.

You sure can tell there are new owners' portions are smaller, the waitress was borderline rude & no pie but the catfish was really good !!

Visiting from Michigan I've been looking for a good catfish dinner and DJ's did not disappoint! Our server was very pleasant and suggested the onions rings over the French fries. The interior is a little worn out but very clean. We will return next time we're in the area

A friend of mine who lives in this area brought me here. I'll admit that my expectations were low simply because it's small diner in a very rural area and I wasn't familiar with it. That was a mistake on my part, because this place served me what I believe may be the best burger I have ever had, and I've had my share of burgers. The people here were friendly and the food was fresh and flavorful. I've been here several times since that first visit and they have never disappointed. If you're passing through, stop here and try a jumbo cheeseburger with fries and a sweet tea. I have a feeling you'll come back!
