D'bo's Daiquiris Wings & Seafood - Memphis

First and foremost, I want to tell yall thanks for the amazing southern hospitality and great food. The cashier, Makhiya, was the sweetest. Very patient, informative and had suggestions. My wife and I ordered a decent amount of food for the both of us. We had a 5pc whole wing combo, wet season with fries. 10pc party wings flavored hot and hot honey. All extra crispy. And a piece of catfish. After placing our order we sat at the bar. I didn't get a chance to get the bartender's name but she was the nicest. She informed us that the daiquiri was 2for1, which was awesome. We had the hurricane and the pineapple passion, I believe. And they were pretty good. The restaurant had a full bar as well, that was a major plus. Never been in a wing spot with a full bar lol. When I tell you all the food was sooooo delicious, it's really an understatement. It was made fresh and in a timely manner. We don't have to wait over 20 minutes, like at the other wing spots in town. We haven't lived in Memphis for the past two years, so we make it our mission to stop at wing spots before we leave. And Dbo's really touched our hearts with this visit. Everyone knows there's no wings like Memphis wings. If you're wondering if you should eat here, hell yes. This is your confirmation!

Def my go to in whitehaven! Their wings are consistently good and they have great flavors! These people are so nice in there! And the vibe is sooo good!

Ima touch yall hand when I say this..... go light on the lemon part of the pepper ok.. I twisted my mouth up like I bit into a lemon. The okra was delicious as well as the seasoned fries. The honey gold and honey hot were 4/5. I'll come back but won't get the lemon pepper. They're salty and sour all at once. Ordered through doordash so cannot speak on service or ambiance. Only the food.

I heard such great things about this location. However the let down was REAL. Personally the gold sauce and bbq flavor wings I ordered was GROSS. I couldn't figure out how to describe the sauce flavor but it was not great. The fries were saturated in seasoning salt. The service was tolerable but not the greatest. The soda dispenser needed to be cleaned. When you pushed in the water dispenser it would get stuck causing the station to flood. I later ended up getting sick from the wings and will advise the crew to reevaluate everything.

Imagine coming to wing place that has been open for over 30 years and the wings still taste bad. DBos is overrated but they got liquor so I'll drink to them being overrated. Cheers.

The customer service here is terrible. I have called this location multiple times over the course of 2 days about the status of an order that needed to be cancelled. I was rudely hung up on by multiple members of the staff on 4/17/24. The night before I made multiple attempts to call the establishment. Someone would pick up the phone and hang it up. When they finally answered the phone at 11:00am the next day, I explained that I needed to cancel my order and had been making multiple unsuccessful attempts to get in contact with the establishment. The customer service agent stated that my order had already been prepared, 45 mins before the pick up time. Which meant that my order would not have been fresh at pick up time, which was at 11:45am. They've been giving me the run arounds all day about speaking with a manager. Then at one point it seemed like they disconnected their phone for half the day. Very unprofessional. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and exploring further action pertaining to my refund.

There's space to dine in but we did take out. The catfish was really good - honestly, the best I've had in Memphis so far, and I've had several times at this point. I'm also very particular about teriyaki sauce, so I was nervous to try the wings but they were a HIT. Also try the frozen drinks! You can order them to-go :)

My basketball program is in town for a game this weekend. Asked some of the locals where the best place to get wings in Memphis and they said D'bos. We found the nearest location, walked in with 12 starving high school ball players, they all individually ordered their food and it was ready within 7-10 min. They boys were licking their fingers halfway through the meals. We are from atlanta where the bar for chicken wings is set very high. D'bos can compete with every wing spot in Atlanta and hold their own. We were very pleased with our visit. The owners were present and welcoming. I will definitely be eating here if I ever get back to Memphis.

My food was delicious. I ordered the 5 piece whole wings Honey Gold flavor. Finger licking good! I will definitely be returning.
