Crossroads Rib Shack

Stayed for a few days in Corinth, MS & found this little gem the first night!Quite a few people on a Tuesday night (good sign). We grabbed a table and were greeted a few minutes later. We ordered iced tea (sweet) & a coke. The sweet tea was perfect...not too sweet!!Both of us wanted the ribs and we ordered the rib plate for two. We each got our pick of two sides & we both picked fried okra & onion rings.Our order came quickly and the ribs were fall off the bone delicious!!! I love dry rubbed ribs and these were soooo good! There were 3 sauces available, which I used to dip my onion rings. Yum!!!Fried okra was fried just right and so were the onion rings!Great bbq and very casual atmosphere (perfect for us on a 3 day getaway).

Visited here for dinner on a drive to Memphis last week. Located right on the side of US 72 W in the middle of Corinth, it was an easy stop for us. Parking was no problem though it was a little later on a Friday, around 7:45 or 8 P.M. We were seated promptly by an exceptionally warm and pleasant employee. The decor is sort of homey and kitschy, with the awards won by the restaurant proudly on display. The menu is fairly large and full of American favorites like burgers, barbeque, onion rings, and so on. This is technically a bbq place but to me the vibe definitely gives off more a standard American diner/restaurant feel, and my hunch was eventually proven right.My parents both got burgers and split an order of fries; I had the fried chicken strips with fried okra and fries (look...I was on a mini vacation!), and my husband dared to try the smoked half chicken with fries and baked beans. I think I enjoyed my food more than my husband and parents -- hunch confirmed. I'd give my dinner a 4 but they felt a good bit more lukewarm. I had one super dry chicken strip but the rest were fairly juicy, lightly breaded, and flavorful. Meals come with garlic bread and it was really solid -- the real deal, super buttery and garlicky. The okra was great texture-wise though the breading could use a bit more salt. I enjoyed my fries but my parents said theirs were way too greasy. In fairness to them, I think they got a different batch than me, because I could see the sheen of oil on their serving. They did both enjoy their burgers. The ranch dipping sauce I got was good.Husband got the worst thing for sure; the chicken was very dry and not super smoky. I kept my I told you so to myself irl but I won't here, lol. The sweet tea was particularly delicious and they kept the refills coming. Service was overall quite nice and the restaurant, particularly the lady's bathroom, was clean. The four of us ate for about $50, which I didn't think was bad at all. Honestly, I'd give my experience a 4/5, especially considering the somewhat limited options in the area, but my fellow diners' experiences seemed a little flatter. Oh well. It was a serviceable dinner on a road trip.

The ribs weren't bad. Not super flavorful, but decent enough. They could have been warmer though. I made the mistake of getting fresh cut fries instead of crinkle cut; they were stale and flavorless. The macaroni was cold and one of the worst things I've ever eaten.

Came in around 5:30 on a Tuesday night. Half the restaurant was blocked off but there was plenty of available seating. The restaurant was clean and dirty tables were being cleaned in a timely manner.We order the ribs for two with sides of okra and onion rings. We thought the onion rings and okra were very good. We really liked the ribs but a few were overcooked and dry. So if we didn't have the few dry ribs, I would have given the place 5 stars. Not sure about the other menu items. Worth a try

I am a teacher in town. I placed a to go order on my lunch break and forgot my wallet. I had my work badge on which I showed them. I had my drivers license to show them. I had the last 4 of my debit card on apple pay... I promised to call them with my debit card number as soon as I got back to school (5 mins away but not enough time to double back) and nope they sent this teacher away at lunch time with no food... This is not the community I am seeking and will likely not ever give them my business again... so much for southern hospitality!!

Great food. Decent prices. They are always friendly and food is consistent every time.

Visited here for the first time and I'd definitely go back. Hometown atmosphere. When you walk in, go straight to the ordering counter. The cashier was very friendly. By the time we got our drinks and made to the table, our food was already on it's way. They call your order number, but just raise your hand because they'll bring the food to your table. I had the half smoked chicken with okra and baked beans. It was all very good. The chicken was moist, flavorful and fell off the bone. Okra was crispy. Baked beans were tasty, but their temperature was lukewarm. Just needed to be heated up a little bit. My friend ordered the dry ribs... the only way the ribs come here. She added the bbq sauce and said they were good. Looked like the meat also fell off the bone. I'd highly recommend coming here.

Order brisket sandwich and it came on small bun. I ordered potato salad and it came in a small container like you would get sauce in. My husband order pulled pork plate with beans and cold slaw. Slaw and beans came in the same small container as my potato salad did. The slaw was so watery it looked disgusting. He had to pour a lot of sauce on the pork because it was dry. To me the amounts of sides in the small containers and food not worth the over $35 we paid. Seems that they had one waitress.
