Creative Cakes

I was decently happy with my cake! Some of the details were a bit lost in translation (the numbers were meant to be a different color and only numbers 1-20 were supposed to be on there) but overall the cake was stunning! My husband thought the extra numbers were hilarious as I thought he would so I didn't bother having them correct it though I'm sure they would have been happy to! The consultation for the cake was easy peasy and everyone I met was very nice there! It also smells absolutely heavenly in their shop.

The Macaroons! WOW!I walked in unsure if they had anything on hand available to purchase. They had a wonderful selection of macaroons, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, and more! Not to mention that their birthday cakes have the prettiest writing I've ever seen with icing! The workers were knowledgeable about their products and very friendly! Went in to buy something for someone else, and ended up leaving with a few treats of my own! I will definitely be back. Yum!

Omg, I love Creative Cakes! Hands down, I've never tasted better cakes. The cakes are not only beautiful they are delicious. I usually order all my birthday cakes from Creative Cakes.They also do wedding cakes and other delicious pastries. Ample parking. Also check out their sister location Rosie's!

I purchased a birthday cake and the outside looked great but the inside was dry with no moisture. I believe the cake had been at the store for awhile and they sold it too me. My birthday is coming up soon but I will never go back for seconds.

Quality, but expensive. A good choice if you're looking for something attractive for a special presentation, but I wouldn't be here just to get a family dessert.

I stopped by here to price a birthday cake for my husband. While I was in line, I perused the book with the cakes in it, and found to my dismay that most of the cakes in there that were even moderately decorated were prohibitively overpriced. That was too rich for my blood, but I couldn't pass up the cupcakes, so I bought some for my family and took them home. They were rich and sweet, but also extremely cute. I will definitely buy cupcakes again, but as for full size cakes...not unless I hit the lottery or they have a sale.

My sister purchased a small cake for my moms birthday dinner. The cake was very moist and taste really great! We were all pleased!

I needed a cake for my mother-in-law's birthday. Cakes by Rita told me there would be a 3 week wait for an order placed that day? and there was no way I was going to the grocery store bakery... no way. In comes, 'Creative Cakes' who assured me that they always have cakes ready to go with short notice. I purchased a white batter cake w/ white icing (decorated, of course) and also purchased a a variety of cupcakes. The cake received a very warm welcome but for some reason the cupcakes did not (go figure). I do recommend their cakes, although if you don't mind a drive to New Albany Westside BBQ would be my choice (open Thurs to Sat only)... but Creative Cake is a definite #2.

Cakes are dry but cupcakes, macaroons, and cakes in cups are great. Cookies are really good too. Only had thing is the owner has a crappy attitude and one of the workers tries to short change you all the time.
